Don't think I have ever spent so much of a weekend online and shopping, not ever
So, looking at my particular bombsite, am I working out how to get it all sorted or am I contemplating a visit to A ?:o
I contemplated and decided to limit the damage and clear up a bit before I do anymore shopping.
I have sort of decided maybe I have enough shampoo as still have quite a few of the Pantene Brunette expressions that glitched in Tescos and lots of 10p/20p shampoos and conditioners from Superdrug. Have just filled another Ts crate as found some bits stuffed under the bed in plastic bags.
There is no more room now every inch is covered with hair dye, suncream, handcream, shower gels, mouthwash etc all in various baskets/boxes/bags. And the 2 crates dedicated to haircare.:o We do get through it quite quickly with four females but as fast as we do there always seems to be another glitch/cheapie to stock up again. :j

Then you are still expected to be strong and achieve everything that you set out to, but sadly sometimes this is not always possible. I just want you to know im thinking of you and sending huge ((((hugs)))) your way, and you know there is always some one around on here to have a chat to if you need to - much love :A:A
Thanks for your very thoughful words :A :A
I am feeling much brighter today, and yesterday too.

Fairclaire, I'm so sorry to read what you've been going through. I can totally relate to every thing you've said. My DH is ex-services. He did tours of Iraq (first Gulf war), Bosnia and 3 tours of Ireland to name a few. He too really struggles to deal with everything. He was shot in Iraq, 3 days later his unit were ambushed on patrol and 3 of them killed. (His best friend included. ) He has never forgiven himself for not being there. Ironically being shot in the head probably, actually saved his life.
He has told me some things that he's seen that have made me physically sick, but mostly it keeps it all to himself and carries that burden alone. To this day he has nightmares that scare me, I can only imagine what it does to him.
I don't think anyone who hasn't been there and done it can truly understand what our guys and girls go through on the frontline and they are truly this nation's heroes. I for one salute every single one of them.
You have shown such courage and strength to take the first big step to getting your OH the help he desperately needs. He may never forget the things he's encountered and endured but hopefully with time and the right treatment, he'll soon be able to deal with it better.
You are both in my thoughts. You've done the right thing and I hope you both get everything you need. As a country, it's the very least we can do. xxx
I might be talking out of turn here and if then I am sorry. But to the people who are bickering on here about Shampoo....Yes, SHAMPOO. Please take a moment to read this post and it may just bring things back into perspective.0 -

A glitch on a womble for those that like Vodka...
Not sure if it's any use to anybody but I just put through an A$da womble and saw this...
9 items (5 different) on your bill qualify for comparisonTesco+£0.48
1 x ASDA Good for you! Fresh Custard (500g)£1.48N/A1 x ASDA Chosen by You Crusty Cobs (4)£0.69N/A2 x Schweppes Diet Lemonade (2L)£2.00£2.001 x Pedigree Schmackos with Chicken (10 per pack - 86g...£1.00£1.001 x Patak's Korma Cooking Sauce (500g)£1.76N/A1 x Sharwood's Garlic & Coriander Puppadums (10 per pa...£1.78N/A1 x ASDA Red Grapes (500g)£2.00£2.001 x ASDA Chosen by You Bread & Butter Pudding with Cus...£2.50N/A1 x ASDA Wholefoods Mixed Raisin (200g)£1.47N/A2 x ASDA Chosen by You Tricolour Rice (190g)£1.64N/A1 x Smirnoff Red Label Vodka (1L)£17.00£18.00
4 x Smirnoff Vodka & Ocean Spray Cranberry Juice (250m...£7.48 £6.00
Comparison total (compared products only)£29.48£29.00
The significance of this is that there is a £2.48 multibuy discount on the receipt so they only paid £5.00 in the first place. The discount states "premix cans 4 for £5.00" but as they bought all Vodka Cranberries I'm not sure if it works for others in the deal.
It would make each can £1 after APG and discount compared to Mr T...not exceptional I know but it may help somebody!
:beer:Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be
And get lots of glitches!0
