Looking for really robust, well made dog toy!

Can anyone recommend somewhere to buy really well made dog toys? In particular I'm looking for a replacement rugby ball. I bought the one below which is suede and looks very well made - my dog (labrador mix) absolutely loves it but within about an hour had already bitten off the loop and into the top of it, spreading stuffing all over the floor!
He had another very similar one which didn't last either. He doesn't seem so keen on those tough rubber toys, shreds ropes with knots in, nibbles balls to bits and generally thinks it's his mission to destroy any toy - I'd like to find something that will last (if possible).

Poundshop's rope toys are the longest surviving toys in this household! They do small (4"ish) balls, 6"ish rectangular bars, as well as normal tuggies. The tuggies have got a bit frayed but the balls and bars are doing fantastially despite being gnawed on, left out in the rain, run through the washing machine several times, etc.
Another tough toy I have is a Boomer ball but Casper isn't interested in it and Kiki gets frustrated that she can't pick it up in her mouth. She preferred the Jolly ball, which was a bit softer but quite tough. Not quite indestructible, she nibbled through it eventually, but quite longlasting.

They have a couple of "Skinneez" type toys too - soft toys without stuffing so no motivation to rip apart and destuff.

What about a black kong?- they are supposed to be well 'nigh indestructible!!- then put a rope loop through it so that you can throw it, or it can be carried by the rope.Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything! --
Many thanks

Thanks for the suggestions - been browsing and found this toy which seems good as he seems to prefer squashy toys rather than the hard rubber ones!

It's a shame as my other dog is small and would love more dainty toys but they would just get destroyed by the other one!

one of my dogs favs (he likes to shake and 'rag' his toys) is an industrial mop replacement cover - cost about £6 and he's had his for about 5 years. Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0

I got a squeaky duck dressed like a biker from B&M, only £1.20 and the label said for even the most determined chewer.
It sort of quacks rather than squeaks and the dogs love it.
They've subjected it to all kinds of abuse in the last month and it's not only intact but STILL quacking!
That's a first in this house, I can tell you!0 -
You can also just use old clothes that you no longer wear (fleeces/jumpers etc) and plait them and turn them into tuggers.
May not last long but MSE and recycling0 -
Try Nylabone. My dog destroys EVERY toy she has as she is a very strong chewer. I've tried tough toys from Pets and Home and spent a lot of money, only for toys to be destroyed within 30 mins or so. I bought this:

about 3 months ago and it is still going strong, even though the dog seems to be on a mission destroy it. Quite pricey at around £15 but a great quality toy.
Cheaper options are definitely Kongs.0 -

The black kongs have lasted longer than anything else with my 'power chewer' who hasn't been informed that he's only a toy poodle and isn't supposed to need toys with pictures of rottweillers on the packaging!
They bounce in weird ways when you throw them, so very exciting.0 -
Those Tuffy toys are great - very tough and cute! I've bought a few myself from this place:

They do various size toys in that range so hopefully you can keep both your dogs happymaryroberts wrote: »Thanks for the suggestions - been browsing and found this toy which seems good as he seems to prefer squashy toys rather than the hard rubber ones!
