Don't give up keep trying and you will get there, remember the only time you have failed ANYTHING in life is when you have given up on it. You can do anything you want if you focus, work hard and remain consistent
Good luck

Good to see new blood coming into the industry, the current climate does not make it easy for you
I am being placed with an established Company within a Network to be trained!
They are providing leads for the first six months of my actually working - ie after CAS is achieved. They will provide leads after that, if requested, for payment.
I had had interviews with six different networks and/or the companies - so I did have choice.
I just gave up trying to find a paid placement.0 -
Best of luck shameless, but its good you have the support of a network company -let us know how you get on - by the way I'm laughing at your signature, you will NEVER be a millionaire as a mortgage broker, unless you charge massive fee's and networks always pressure AR's to charge fee's!

I am fed up of doing CeMap test papers! Have done four today - for CeMap 2. I have mortgages coming out of my ears!
I bought the IFS Competence Development Tool and it is fantastic! I got mine on Ebay since the IFS charge £160 for it. Whilst it is excellent I cannot see how they got a price tag of £160 for it in the first place!0 -

You wait until you start doing the job and you will have mortgages coming out off all your other orifices as well! 18 hour days, eyes going blurry on the pc, compliance inspections, clients ringing you at 1130pm (yes, they really do!)
If you dont live eat and breathe mortgages you won't survive. You have to make the job fun, network with other brokers and mess about a bit to get by.
I generally reinvent names for lenders and documents to amuse myself.I am a Mortgage Adviser

Yes I know what you are saying! This coursework is just so intensive.
At least when you get to actually DO the job it is interesting and never the same from one client to another.
These questions keep regurgitating themselves! I have some on the CDT and some on paper, plus more on another cd I bought.
I just need to pass these exams!!! That is the most important thing right now!
Thanks for your advice, it is much appreciated!0 -

The reason i am doing this is because one day i decided that i really wanted to do something in the finance world but also wanted to be an engineer, i am having no luck being an engineer as i cant get a job anywhere, so i have decided to go with the finance side... I hope that things work out for me this time. I have spent 3 years trying to be successful in engineering..0

Some brokers would have you believe that there is a lot of engineering in mortgages! lol
