Free texts for Orange ??

I picked up an answerphone message on my Orange networked Nokia phone yesterday - apparently if I text 07781 486562 with the word 'free' I will get 100 free texts credited.

Does anyone know if this is kosher ?

Thanks

Rob

Magsys online lookup for the number given is as follows:

    Code: 077 814
    Type: Mobile
Use: Mobile Cable & Wireless Guernsey
    Operator: Cable & Wireless Guernsey
Tariff Band: Mobile and PCN 30/20/10p (f) (inc VAT)
    Service: Mobile

It seems unlikely that Orange UK would choose to employ a Guernsey mobile/PCN number to promote free texts, but stranger things have happened. I don't think I'd choose to employ an actively-used sim with much paid credit or on contract to check this out unless Orange give it their blessing.

and they are giving 10% cashback on top-ups. see the other thread: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=41096
