4 months ago I got a Nationwide and Barclaycard both with 0% BT to transfer off my main card (lloydstsb) following renovating my house. I now need another card to clear the Lloyds card as its interest free period is coming to an end, what other card should I apply for? I will then close the Lloyds card completely.
I know I've racked up a fair bit of debt, but new home and everything is now done, and I have my company sharescheme money coming out in January so I can clear all 3 cards when that does. This isnt normally a situation I'd get into, but needed to following a move. As soon as I get my share money, I will clear all 3 cards.

Have a look at www.creation.co.uk
These are usually easier to get and after 2 kids and a new house in the last 4 years they have been a godsend!I have a deep burning indifference0 -
Thansk Scott, is creation a new lender? Or that a comparison site?
I was looking at the Fluid card with 15 months 0% on BT's with a low 1.5% transfer fee? Anyone know if Fluid as easier to get than most?
Cheers0 -
Creation have been going donkeys years. They used to be known as certergy and were part of Equifax for some time, they used to make all the store cards for places like Fosters, Adams places like that. They were taken over by a French bank and Creation was born and are still based in Chadwick House in Solihull, next door to where I work!0

I've just got myself a Flybe Mastercard (Creation) which came with 12 month 0% on BT's.
They accepted no problem after a couple of knock backs from other companies.0 -
Cheers everyone
Will definately try a Creation card, who is the owner behind Creation, or is it creation themselves? You know, where you cant transfer a balance from one card to another if both owned by the same company

Creation cards are financed by Sygma Bank. When you apply for the card it will show Sygma bank as the lender who credit checked you.0 -
Thanks again
I got approved for a Flybe card, with £5,000 limit with 0% on BT for 9 months (what it said on their website) so I thought 'happy days'
Then few minutes later I got confirmation email through, and it only stated a variable APR of 18.9%??! Is this right, or do they only tell you the standard card rate?
I wouldnt of applied if I'm not going ot get the 0% offer :mad:0 -
That'll just be talking about the rate for purchases. You'll get the 0% BT don't worry.0

As jd87 stated, 18.9% is your purchase rate. You should have got 12 months not 9 months interest free on balance transfers.
When I applied for my Flybe card and got accepted, I got an email straight after saying that I had been accepted. I got a follow up welcome email just after with the benefits of the card stating only 9 months on balance transfers.
When I rang up, a rep told me that my application was classed as a high ranked account which automatically produced a automatic promotional deal email offering 9 months.
Your account probably was classed as a high ranked (this is good) as well.
She went onto say that it was definitely 12 month I had not 9 month on BT's.
It even says on creation website that you get 12 months on balance transfers.0 -
Thanks again people
Very pleased with your comments, will let you know how I get on when it comes through the door
