Clean the mould off with a damp cloth, as suggested by Phillips?0

Get cloth, mix solution of bleach and warm water, dip cloth in and clean the handle.
use scrubber if stubborn.
This would really be my first option. If it doesn't work I'd try contacting Philips again by letter.0 -

Having gerbils waiting for me in a cup in the morning would be quite a shock, so thank you for the warning...
OP, after you've cleaned it, don't leave the toothbrush handle in the bathroom. Leave the toothbrush head in there, but keep the handle somewhere less humid. Then you shouldn't have any more problems.0 -
i dont leave it in the bathroom i keep it in my bedroom with the charger thanks .0

How can black mould be the manufacturers fault?0

I have 2 Sonicare toothbrushes which are used daily and left in the bathroom. Never had a problem with mould ? One of them is 6 years old.
Do you put anything on your hands before using the brush ?0 -

I can't believe that people would need to look this up ! Or that someone felt the need to actually add this to the website ! What happened to common sense ?0
