Hi All

I have been with Orange for 2 years now , i have a monthly bill of +- £30 for 500 xnet minutes :) ( made a nice deal last year at upgrade time)

Now i really want the new M2000 Pda that orange sells , my contract only ends end July ..so this gives me some time to get convince them they should give me this phn for free :D

NOTE: we have just moved into a new area & the phone reception is not great at all , so i was thinking about calling them repeatedly over a period of time to let them know how bad the signal is... & when its time to upgrade ...tell them no sorry i want to cancel bcoz of poor signal unless u make it worth my while ???

what do yall think ?? good idea or am i just wasting my Time ??

Thanks
X

if reception is poor, why potentially commit to 12 months of poor service and not move to a network who can provide better service for your money, and new customer incentives?

Hi Woby_Tide , i belive that the phone i want the M200 is a pda/phone with loads of other feutures , & i feel if i had to get this phone from a new contract will probably pay at least £50 a month ..... my aim is to get my current phone provider to give me this phone even though my current monthly spend on only £30.

i am fully open for critisim here if anyone feels i am wrong

Find out what other people are offering it at, by July no doubt it will come down a bit, but check sites like www.e2save.com and www.onestopphoneshop.com and maybe www.dialaphone.com and when you call them be armed with that info and saying X is offering at this much how much will you give it at etc.

My method was 2 phone calls, managed to get the price down but then requested a PAC got the phone for free and extra minutes and some discount line rental (NOTE wasn't on this phone, was on a V3 when it first came out).

Don't think you need to give them a specific reason for leaving as they're not too bothered about why, just that you will be leaving
