PPI looks like a non-starter I'm afraid :( as the accounts were defaulted / settled on F&Fs, they'd just keep the money to offset the written off amount. There is a glimmer of hope on one loan account that I know was paid in full (with another consolidation loan  - boy did I still have a lot to learn at that point!)

Have decided decluttering is bad for me!

Was trying to reach a bag of goodness knows what shoved down the side of the sofabed and forgot how [STRIKE]worn out and knackered [/STRIKE] soft it is and whalloped (sp?) my knee on something .... have a big egg on it and it's really sore:(

Added to my throbbing finger (courtesy of big cat who objected strongly to being picked up with a swipe with his claw that's made a really deep & now horrible looking wound), I'm not impressed!:o

Can't believe it's only just after 8:30 - I'm totally shattered ..... oh to living the high life - and I'm on hols too & don't need to be up at the crack of dawn!

Deff worth giving the loan account a bash, worst they can say is 'no'. Sorry to hear about your knee (perhaps move the sofa next time :o;)) and finger - cat scratches can be horrible, make sure you get some antiseptic on it.

Thanks for rubbing it in that i'm back at work tomorrow, soooo wish I had another couple of days off - bit worried that I'm not as rested as i'd like to be, given I slept until 12.30 today and missed OH calling me three times for a cuppa :o

  • Evening all!

Just avoiding homework :o so thought I'd look at my NSDs! Currently on NSD 7, yesterday I spent a little but it was out of money put aside so I'm not counting it!

Shift at the bookies yesterday was bl00dy appauling! I nearly stopped at a shop on the way home to buy cigarettes (and I gave up 3 years ago!) it's stressful only working there every so often, when things go wrong I'm not prepared and I get in a muddle :o

Anyway I just keep thinking of the extra money (pitiful as it is :rotfl:) May get job interview feedback tomorrow so fingers crossed it's good news.

Best get my homework done, silly for putting it off today but at least I was at the gym so alls good! Cats snuggled up in front of the wood burner so can't even blame them for distracting me!

Can I come in, I am sorry I have been MIA all weekend and didn't get the updates done :o I came home from work on Friday to find my OH had booked us a weekend in the Lake District as a surprise  It was a lovely break (and I didn't spend a penny) but now I'm back and feel guilty that I didn't get the chance to tell you I wouldn't be around and as I don't have one of those fancy phones I couldn't log in to let you know either :o:o

So I'm sorry.:o The front page is all up to date. well done to those that have reached their targets :T:T:T and I am up to NSD #16 :)

    Have a great day :D

Will be writing the letter later ;) - finger rinsed well with antiseptic spray & had ointment & a plaster on overnight & it's looking a bit healthier this morning but still sore to touch .... as is the knee:o
