Thanks for the welcome back marmite - it was my wedding last week. Lovely in every way, we all had a fantastic day. By typical wedding costs it was a fairly budget wedding, and I'm thrilled that we paid for it without getting into any more debt at all - but it was quite a lot of money for us, and now I have both kids birthdays this month and Christmas coming up.

:j:j:jrising - and you’ve nabbed no 2 as well, that’s brilliant. I love the bag, especially the colour, purple is one of my favourite colours. And I love pockets on bags... only problem is that I spend ages looking for things as I can never remember where I’ve put them

    Hello to:

Heffi1 - fingers crossed for NSD no 1 today

If - love the pics, please keep posting them, they make my day

optimistic-mummy - not too bad at all today, well done for resisting any other unnecessary spends. Fingers crossed for tomorrow

marmite - pleased it’s a lot cooler now, it must have been unbearable earlier. Grrrr to the dds today, fingers crossed for tomorrow

kerri - the bananas I’ve frozen stay the same colour as they were when I put them in, they don’t go any blacker. I do put them in the fast freeze compartment though and always in a container rather than a freezer bag so that may help.

L2B - oh dear, sorry about today but, on the positive side, you have made a good saving. It’s definitely a good policy to leave the purse at home, no money = no spends

Melaniep101 - glad you enjoyed the biscuits, they sound yummy!

Phew...... if you've managed to read to the end of that, you deserve a medal.

freeby, hope that's OK for you to update from, I thought it might be clearer for you as there's a lot to update.

'night everyone. Back tomorrow for Tuesday's update:D

PS: Sorry, I couldn't resist the Olympic themed titles........

  • This will be NSD 1. Got the online leccy bill today, they want another £30 . Hopefully it will be cheaper with the new provider, plus I should really try to save more leccy in the house (not sure how though, we have energy saving bulbs, only telly is on at night, oven hardly used and hob is gas, one electric shower a day, well I guess fridge freezer is ancient and eating loads, plus WM). But I won't be paying that just yet, I'll wait till the final bill that they should send me in the post once the switch over is totally complete. God knows how much they want yet for the final gas bill, got a degree so not stupid but never quite get their billing system.
