Oh Nat! There are many days when I would quite willingly swap my blokey for a bottle of Cava and a tub of Haagen Dazs.
Actually, no, possibly not really, thinking about it.
It would have to be Ben & Jerrys:D
Time flies - I remember you saying when the 2 of you had split. The months are just zooooooooming by at the moment.
:rotfl:Me too!!
Hugs ((((Nat ))))
Break ups are tough, even when they need to happen
Are you looking for Love again or happy to be single for now?
Just popping on to try and Spur everyone of for a final Ebaying push!!!
Last couple of days of the free listing Marathon
Some points to remember for those who maybe don't already know~
You can schedule your listings, so if like me now, your up at 5.30am listing, instead of my auctions going live now, set them to schedule, i always choose the longest possible date. Then later this evening at a more suitable time i will go and change the schedule and set the listing to go live.
although when you schedule it will say your listing is being charged, as long as you actually go live during a free listing period you wont get charged.
Another method is to just list with a title and start price, no pictures added and just "details to be added soon" in the discription. This method works well if your in a real rush and busy over the weekend but able to update on the monday or tuesday after a free listing. so the idea is to "book in " your listing slots to qualify for the free listings and then update (revise) the listing when you have more time to add the details.
Best of luck!!Build your own dreams ~ or someone will hire you to help build theirs

Ooh thanks Money Spider, I always wondered what the schedule thing was all about! People have mentioned listing things when they have a bit of time but not starting them straight away. I always wondered how to do it, so thanks for the tip!
I have a few things ending this lunchtime so if I'd have known I could have used this tip last week! Oh well I know now! :-)0 -
So I'm off the mark with my first ever challenge!! Post collected from my old house - in it £25 cheque from some premium bonds I've had for ages and had forgottem about. This weekend I am going to hit ebay - this is going to be the start of things.........0

Best of luck!!) Although I did once have a bid on a 'ladies top' with no info at all. I emailed the bidder to apologise for the random listing, but why had they bid sort of thing, and they said they were just messing around to see what they would get for 99p as a lucky dip :rotfl: and to send something anyway :rotfl::D Random!
But one time I did it, I got a snotty email from Ebay to say that my listing was being removed as this 'booking in' an end slot was against the rules.
Though I did have about 20 at the time, and they only removed 1, good old Ebay being thorough as ever!! So quickly did the others in case.
I have done it at the moment actually from Thursday, but making it more or a priority to get things done and edited.
Not sure whether it's only for Buy it Nows that Ebay don't like you doing it, as that was when I had the one removed, when they did their unusual BIN free listing weekend, as never had a problem the hundreds of times I've done it for normal items.Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -

I have literally struck gold this morning!!
Aggggggeeeesss ago i bought a broken watch strap, i paid something like 20p for it, at the time i thought it looked like gold. On closer insection at home the small stamp said 9ct with metal core, so i assumed it was gold plated
i tossed it in a draw and forgot about even owning it, i got it that long ago!!....anyway,
While rooting about for ebay stuff this morning i found it again, and had another look over it, i realised that the goldy bits could actually be pulled off with some determination and some long nosed pliers, it's taken about and hour to get all the gold off the metal core, I've weighed it on my digi scales and there is just under 5 grams of gold!!.....so between £50 ~ £60 worth!!:jBuild your own dreams ~ or someone will hire you to help build theirs

Yay MoneySpider - what a good find!
I don't know much about these things as I don't think I've got anythhing worth anything that I can sell - but from what I've read I believe Hatton Garden Metals was the best place for quite a while, so worth checking out if they still are. Have heard and read lots of good things about themHalf of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -

Hatton Garden Metals are the most honest company for giving you a true value on your old gold.
I also know someone who has their own business in Hatton Garden and they will give you a true value to. They won't rip you off.0 -
:wave:Hi Everyone!
Been busy doing overtime this month, which will be great for my total next month! £31-04 interest to add, £5 H@lif@x reward, and Tesco clubcard coupons saved me £47 on my shopping as I doubled £20 worth and put it towards school uniform bits.
Crikey PLMBL, all sounds very scary , but hope your hubby will be ok now he's taking the meds.
Off out in this gorgeous weather now, so don't think any money will be made today2023 Weekly Cash Envelope Savings Challenge #04
