Debenhams online - very poor customer service

Returned two items over two months ago and have had to make numerous phone calls to get the refund - still do not have it although they have received the parcel back.
OH spoke to THE most obnoxious pratt today who claimed to be a manager but would not let her get a word in edgeways and talked over her the whole time. Refused to even refund cost of phone calls.
Anyone had any similar experience with debenhams online and if so, what was the outcome?

What reason have they given for the delay in refunding? It's sounds like there is a little more to this.0 -

Unfortunately yes. He is constantly making disparaging remarks to me and other poster on other threads just for the hell of it which is why I have now put him on ignore.0 -

No reason given which is why it is so bloody frustrating. Its almost £100 so I will pursue it. I will call yet again tomorrow, eventually and hopefully I will get someone who will sort it out. Annoying thing is, they have received the return back so there is no excuse.

020 7408 3008 is a geo number which will get you through if you have a package to avoid using th 08445 number.
I feel you despair, they will say anything to get you off the phone. I've just sent my letter to the CEO to see if that gets me anywhere.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
