I'm glad you also think there's no real damage.
Sorry if I made it unclear, it was the credit rating agency that declined me the second time. The natwest website told me this, and gave the number of an agency if I have any queries about why I was declined. I didn't call them because it is clearly due to applying too close to the previous application.0 -

No, it was Natwest who declined you.
The credit reference agency provide information about you to Natwest.
Natwest then take this information, along with the info on your application, into account when they make the decision.0 -
The credit reference agency don't issue you with credit, therefore it was Natwest who declined you. The reason they give you the CRA details to you is so that you can see what info they hold on you and if it is correct.0

Welcome to the forum, Student19. Alas you're always gonna get !!!!!! like dalesrider who don't have anything constructive to add to a debate, so "contribute" in the only way they're capable of, with ridicule & abuse.
I think their post is also jealousy-disguised-as-b1tchiness as they haven't got 2 brain cells to rub together never mind being capable of a university education.
I can fully understand why you tried it again, as you thought it wasn't a completed application and it was an internal Nat West rule ... but you're now concerned that it could impact your credit rating with external agencies. Hopefully those who have posted on here who do have something constructive to add have set your mind at rest.0 -

Nice personall attack... :T Ouch that hurt :rotfl:
ridicule & abuse ??
The site advised what to do. Advice was not followed.
Who's fault is that.
Sadly if this is the standard of future uni education then god help us.
anything constructive to add to a debate ?
Pot, kettle, black :rotfl: You will have to rearange the words to form a well known phrase... Sadly as not uni educated. I am unable to do this simple task :eek:Never ASSUME anything its makes a>>> A55 of U & ME <<<0 -
Yet more abuse, dalesrider? And there was me thinking that you were going to prove me wrong by coming up with something informative & constructive. Well I rest my case!!!
We all make mistakes, we all look back at our actions and conclude that in retrospect that was crazy, whether or not we have a degree to our name ... and the Op has admitted it here. The point is that they were after some constructive & infomative advice and all you were capable of was ridicule & belittlement ... which is really a reflection of your mentality, and no doubt your jealousy that they're capable of the university education that you're lacking.
I don't think I need to say anything else; you say it about yourself so well.0 -

Ok thanks. So do you think that this rejection from Natwest will have negatively impacted my credit rating? Also do you agree with an above poster who says that these applications only remain on my credit file for 12 months?0
