Due to my current provider (AOL- ugh!) trying to force a new contract on me, I need to find a new company in the next two days.
I would welcome all suggestions and recommendations.
Thanks

If you phone line is with BT you can have broadband with just about everyone.
If you want phone line and broadband from someone other than BT (or AOL) you'd need to check http://www.samknows.com/broadband/exchange_search to find out which LLU operators are available to oyu.
However, whatever you choose, I very much doubt you'll be up and running in 2 days!!0 -
Thanks Gordon Hose, I dont expect to be 'up and running' in two days, I just want to get things moving in that time. I am seeking bb only, but will consider a 'phone and bb' package.
My phone is with Post Office at present giving free evening & weekend calls (including to mobiles at wkend) from 6pm.0 -
If you can't get Virgin cable you'll need a phone line to get BB.0

I have been with 'adsl24.co.uk' for a few years and find them excellent. They have many different packages to choose from. They are not the cheapest but they have excellent British-based customer service and sales departments and online ticketing forms(for faults/problems) which are replied to in an acceptable time.
Forgot to add that you can have a rolling month to month contract.0 -
