dial-up on talk talk?

Hi,

I'm on talk talk for my phone (waiting for broadband - but that's another story). Until broad band works I need to connect via dialup - not a huge amount - maybe ten hours a week or so. Any reccomendations - I notice that a few of the providers require a BT line

Have you tried using any of the free dialup internet access providers listed on Google? They would usually be charged a local rate whatever that is on your TalkTalk tariff.

No, I haven't tried any yet. I thought someone else might have been in the same boat in the past and might be able to reccommend a particular company.

if you want cheap as poss but not bothered about speed try Geoisp on 020 8114 9845, it should be included in your free calls as it is a geographical number, I used it in sept/oct when I was having TalkTalk BB probs. It is very slow though. Another one I have used is Totalserve 08450796010, if you add the number to your calling circle i think it works out about 1p per min.
