Delete your existing system restore points, create a new one and you're done.

Done. What about the infection found by malware bytes? Do I not remove that?

Yes, you'll have to run another quick scan, and then make sure it's ticked before clicking the remove detected button

You'll probably find it's no longer there as TFC clears out %temp%

I thought it best to just clear out the entire %temp% folder

It's a setup/installer file & the %temp% folder is hidden by default, so to execute it you'd have to go looking for it, unhiding files & folders & then running it yourself by clicking on it - highly unlikely.

It was likely bundled with something else you've downloaded.
