Virus on laptop. Help would be much appreciated

Hello

Got a virus on laptop. Using windows 7.
Not letting me open any web pages or do any changes to my laptop

Even tries system restore but not letting me do that.
The virus has installed itself on laptop. Called live security platinum.
I have tried to uninstall and restart but no luck!

Plz can anyone help.

    Although it may have worked to a certain extent, system restore wasn't designed to deal with malware infections. Dedicated malware removal tools are the best option.

    I've seen a few of these rogues come with a rootkit recently (ZA & necurs), so it would be a good idea to check further.

    Download DDS from the link below and save it to your desktop:

    After you've downloaded it and saved it to your desktop:
    • Double click DDS to run it.
    • When it's finished, DDS will open two logs:
    1. DDS.txt
    2. Attach.txt
    Save both reports to your desktop.

    Copy & paste the contents of just DDS.txt for now and post it here (you may need to split the log over separate posts)

    To be honest you can't really trust the system integrity now, especially if you do stuff like online banking. Formatting and reinstalling Windows is the safest option.
