Somewhere Hot End Of October???

Hi All,

Hubby and I have got 2 weeks off work from 27th October 2012 and would really like to go somewhere that will be hot and sunny.
We could go for 2 weeks as long we leave on the 27th or 28th - maybe the 26th at a push - but also don't mind going for 10/11 nights.
We're really open to any suggestions as at the moment we've just been looking at the Canaries.
It can be short or long haul but we would ideally like to depart from East Mids or Birmingham.

Mojacar on the Costa Almeria can still be very warm,but it is not a hustle and bustle sort of place,

Try Egypt. Sharm or Hurghada. There are some excellent hotels in Egypt and good deals on All Inclusive. I was always a Caribbean lover but since discovering Egypt, I am sold. Shorter flight and no jet lag with guaranteed sunshine.

I would recommend the dominican republic - just check current review son the hotels before you book - we stayed at the Iberostar Costa Dorada and it was brilliant

I went to Gran Canaria a few years ago in October, was lovely and hot.

We rented a car and drove around the island in a day.

We stayed in Maspalomas, near the beach, wasn't too busy that time of year.

With the end of bmibaby there are changes to flights from BHX and EMA best to browse the airport websites for inspiration.

October is still hurricane season in the Caribbean.
