There is no 'best', it depends what channels you require. So go to the respective sites and decide which gives you the best options.
If you want PVR facilities then !!!!!! is not suitalbe unless you want to apy Sky £10 per month.

i have decided on a humax freesat due to the reviews.
as i have said i`m not a young chicken, so could some of you please tell me which of the many models would be the easiest for me to use with my limited ability?

The Humax Foxsat currently only comes in 2 versions, both the same except for the hard drive capacity. One is 500GB and the other is 1TB.
They'll both be very easy to use, the interface is the same.
