Hi everyone!
Well the title says it all really. We are having a sweetie buffet for our wedding in July 2013 which will be our wedding favours, and I have started to buy the sweets as the best before dates on things is getting better.
We so far have:
Flying saucers
Maoam chews
Mini Chupa Chup lollies
I plan on getting:
mint imperials
cola bottles
foam bananas
foam shrimps
strawberry laces
and probably more when I think of them!
If anyone else is making their own, what are you planning on having?

We had one at our wedding (a month ago today!!:D) we had:
Freddos
wine gums
cola bottles
pink and blue bottles
Double dips
lollipops
vanilla fudge
marshmallow
Haribo hearts
Haribo giant strawbs
flying saucers
lemon and strawberry sherberts
jelly belly beans
The things that went first were the jelly beans then pink and blue bottles, the double dips and the freddos. The sweetie table did go down very well with our guests.0 -
Oooh there's lots there I hadn't thought about!! I keep thinking abour chocolate but wasn't sure what to go for. I like the sound of the Freddos, and I had totally forgotten about Double Dips!
My future FIL suggested fudge, so I was thinking about trying to make some, but I would have to have a few trial runs and samplings first, just to get it right of course

We looked at what chocolate items there were as some people coming dont like jelly sweets and we opted for a big box of freddo as they worked out best value for money, they were ideal aswell as we did have to worry about them melting in the jar and making a mess.
Oh and we had chocolate raisins aswell because they are ohs favourite!!:)0 -
Hun, the OP is asking about sweet buffet tables at weddings - not what you currently have stacked on the table in the living roomCurrently got,,,
Haribos
Maoam Mix
Blackcurrent & Liquorice.
Yummmm.
