ok, just to tidy up this thread and for anyone with a similar problem.
The front discs and pads were changed £135, it made no difference:mad: , the vauxhall dealer then said it was brake dust and they could blow it out but it would be back in a few days, but we should drive through some puddles and this would help ????, :mad: ,( these people are crazy)
Well i had enough, and spent an hour on the internet and found out what the problem was. The brake pads have a small metal thinghy which touches the discs when the pads get down to a certain level, and it makes a whistling noise which is a audible warning to let you know the pads need changing.
Hence, changed the rear pads for £40 and problem solved :j :j
I now want to complain to vauxhall uk about the dealer but have yet to find a numberNot ashamed to say ABBA are Great :j0 -
Would also complain to the garage about charging you for uncessary work0
