1 - How did you buy the insurance (branch, online, postal application)?

2 - Why do you think it was mis-sold to you?

3 - Do you have any evidence to support your reasons for mis-sale?

    - First I didnt buy - I have been offered in Branch a new Credit card in 2006.

2 - Why do you think it was mis-sold to you?
    - True

3 - Do you have any evidence to support your reasons for mis-sale?

What sort of Evidance ? I am still paying Repayment cover I dont have any agreement etc

I require Letter Sample to ask them my agreement or I need to fill the form from the link from Halifax web site?

True is not an answer for why you think you were missold it.

Did you tick a box on the agreement to say you agreed to PPI?
Why do you think you dont need PPI?
What evidence do you have to confirm that you didnt need PPI?

Nobody told me about this, until I came to know it’s not compulsory, I don’t remember I tick or not , but I’m sure nobody explained it to me. I don’t need PPI coz it was imposed to buy, And named as Repayment Cover, and If I can get my money back so what is the point to argue on it? DO I Need evidence to prove that I don’t need it PPI any more though its been mis-sold?

I m not here to argue, I am here to find some letter sample if you guys can’thelp I would rather prefer to go to CMC to pay them some % and stay relax.

It has been 6/7 years now...No more stupid question please, Advise me how to proceed a claim.

    Thanks

If you cant answer those questions then you wont have much chance claiming.

PPI wasn't always missold, in fact there are perfectly good reasons to take out PPI.

As such the questions asked are not "Stupid"

Depends on the complaint reasons. A weak allegation like yours is unlikely to have anything in the documentation at the firm to support it. So, in that case, you will need evidence to support your allegation. If the firms documentation shows no wrong doing then the onus is on you to show there was.
    No more stupid question please

In which case, based on what you have told us so far, you have no grounds for complaint.

Its a simple first question that people are asking you.

Why do you think you were missold PPI?
  • My Simply reply is : in 2005-6 I have been offered Credit Card in HalifaxLondon Branch - and they signed few papers I never knew about repayment Coveror PPI , I know there are some interest charges but not repayment cover, and I don’tknow since when they taking money out from my credit card named as repayment cover / PPI, Thats why I think it has been mis-sold or imposed indirectly without my concern.

Now you will ask, do I have any proof or evidence that I have been mis-sold PPI – Now you tell me how can I arrange evidence ?

What If I contact with CMC to sort out this matter rather then DIY.
