Yep, I think you've done pretty well with the list! Especially as you've managed a fair amount of running and Downton Abbey as well
I feel like I got my weekend back to front by taking Friday off to do chores in beautiful weather, and getting stuck into some DIY and decluttering yesterday, when everyone else seemed to be at the beach/in a beer garden. Sigh. Feels pretty good to have got rid of several bin bags to charity/tip by clearing out a wardrobe, cleaned the oven and repainted the window frames and skirting boards in the bedroom though - and we even managed to squeeze in a pint and some fish and chipsKnackered today, though! Thank goodness it's a four-day week.
When's your start date, Tete?
And are you all set for hols, Birdie? The resort looked amazing - I love the idea of you camped out on one of those curtained beds, hiding from your friends. Are they still both planning on going?!LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -
I think I'm all set Poddle!
Just need to do a preliminary pack tonight (before realising I've got far too much and taking half of it out later on in the week!) and after having a bit of a belly growth spurt over the weekend going to have to try on my holiday clothes again to make sure that the stuff that fit last week still fits now!
OH put just our toys (inflatable shark, pump for the shark, snorkels, balls etc) and suncream in his suitcase and weighed it, 10kg on that junk alone! He'd rather take fewer clothes than leave pool toys behind! :rotfl: Friends are both still coming, not sure what's going on there any more but they were both at a BBQ on Sunday with us and seemed to be getting on pretty well so maybe there's hope for a happy fortnight?!
Well done for all the DIY! :TOvercome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

I can absolutely see this happening haha! Glad they're getting on better - perhaps don't let them down too many pina coladas though! When do you go? I've just been reading a few blog posts from people's hols and got really sad that I won't be going anywhere for at least 11 months - if that
My start date is Monday, so three more days of freedom and them total mega stress for a year, or so they say :undecided I have a few more things I can tick off the list now. Spent all evening working on a skirt with that fabric from the vintage fair and all I seem to have to show for it is a waistbandEverything else is cut out and ready to sew though I guess.
Well done on your decluttering too Poddle - feels good doesn't it?Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

Yay, Monday start
I got the email with the details about what I'm supposed to observe/photograph/make notes on yesterday and haven't stopped feeling all fluttery since!
I go in for lunch and chats with the teachers on Tuesday and then start on Wednesday, a week and a half of that, then it's lecture city for 4 weeks. Gulp.
Also........I FINALLY exchanged on selling my house yesterday, what a relief!0 -
Ohhhh Monday, amazing! :j Tete, you can always come down London town for a holiday and stay in my spare room
