Probably easier to phone them and cancel. If you send an email they'll probably look for extra information to check that the email has definitely come from the policyholder.0

Hi digp, if you click on "cancel my policy" down the right hand side of their web page you can cancel from the drop down menu. You should get an email confirmation soon after. When I cancelled one of mine about a month ago I also saved some screen captures too as I have read on this forum of folk having problems with them still taking money by DD from your bank so watch your statements closely for the following month or so.
EDIT; because this site classes me as a newby I am unable to post links so you will need to close up the spaces in the www below and copy it into the address bar of your browser.

I'd just stop the direct debit, they don't chase you for the money as there's no contract and part of the t&c state that they will only cover you if you're paying. You don't have to give notice either. (I used to work for CPW and this is what we'd tell customers to do. I used to do it myself if I needed to cancel a policy.)Have I helped? Feel free to click the 'Thanks' button. I like to feel useful (and smug).0

Thanks. I've done that and sent an email.
The online form is ill thought out. By requiring almost all fields to be completed, makes it difficult if you don't have the info.0
