Once a day for me for about an hour - however to look at rental properties not ones for sale.
Couple more years of saving before I can buy!0 -
Every day at least twice (adds up to more than an hour):o we had to exchange contracts few weeks ago but on the day of exchange the seller pulled out:mad: so we are desperately trying to find something quickly as our buyer is pushing us for the completion on 31st October.... and as there is nothing coming up on the market at the moment (at least in the areas we are looking to move to), now I've started to search for rental properties as well as seems like we might need to rent if we cannot find anything:( so you are not alone!;)0

I think it may be a bit like gambling-I get a tingle of excitement when I log on-could this be the day I find my next house?
Am I alone in this?0 -
About 5 times a day!!0

I just look when they send me the email every three days. There's a chance that my perfect property might get sold in two days, but if it does I'd probably have been too slow arranging a viewing and making a decision anyway.Note: Unless otherwise stated, my property related posts refer to England & Wales. Please make sure you state if you are discussing Scotland or elsewhere as laws differ.0

Yes, it was like that to start with, but experience soon changed it to, "Can I save us 200 miles worth of petrol by spotting the deal-breaking flaws from the comfort of my computer chair?" :rotfl:0 -

I'm another who was looking to move 200 miles so RM was invaluable in 'sorting the wheat from the chaff'. We had a very strict check-list across a wide area when we were moving last year plus having accepted an offer within the first two weeks, with a chain above all attempting to achieve a quick exchange/completion, we couldn't afford to spend too much time travelling round viewing unsuitable houses. RM was a very useful tool for getting our shortlist as short as we could. The house we ended up buying we saw one night on RM, arranged a viewing for the next day and about five weeks later we had completed
However, despite not intending to move again for some time, like other posters I'm still addicted to RM and have to check on newly added properties every day or I start to get withdrawal symptomsMortgage-free for fourteen years!

A couple of times a day here, just look for what's been added in the last 24 hours.
I think I prefer Zoopla because we are looking for something specific ie rural.0 -
at least once a day to see what has been added last 24 hours
as we're trying to sell and buy, always on the iphone app!0
