JSA - separate rules per job centre?

It is quite a large job centre and it was chaos yesterday when i went in and I guess will be again today I have a time slot but we will see, train fare is £3 a day for me lets hope this helps with finding work quicker!

The only time I have ever seen people sign daily is those they think are already working i.e. committing benefit fraud. They make them sign on daily to disrupt their working life, to "p" them off basically, pending a full investigation.

Having said that, there may be some other explanation for it. But as others have said, there's no way in a zillion years that everyone on the unemployment register at your Job Centre signs on daily, it's completely impossible for them to sign maybe 4,000 or 5,000 people every day lol.

Mind you, assuming you ain't a fraudster, ask them to pay your fares. They can pay out cash if you keep your bus/train tickets, take ID with you the next time, they can be fussy when they're paying out giros/money.
