Are you suggesting we should be buying shares? Or just using the Grabbit board for a bit of self-indulgent schadenfreude? :)
    Can I help?

    lol:rotfl:
Maybe if their shares go further down, they may go bankrupt and then there will be a Jessops closing down sale.

Withabix, can you see the future??? lol

Even if they have a closing down sale, its probably going to be like 5% off. They are so uncompetitive and pricey, they deserve it.

Ohhh the latter I'm afraid! (@rdwarr)

Unsustainable retail format, as they say...

Shares seem to be getting Grabitt-ed by the banks at the moment, ready for the inevitable carve-up.

I suspect they may own a lot of their retail premises and the banks will have their eyes on the value of those.

I predict 'Jessops.com' will be the only bit left by the end of the summer.

Looks like the banks are snapping these shares up - the stock and leases alone must be worth more than the market capitalisation of £15.5m. Seems a great punt if you're a hedge fund looking for a decent bet.
I wish I had a million quid of someone else's money to throw into this :(

High Streets would be rendered boring if Jessops aren't rescued. My family greatly value being able to see, test, and buy cameras, films, etc, via informed, helpful staff, plus print-your-own photo @ 7p (via 150+ images per memory device). Any ideas, here, of a business that might buy-up Jessops suitably?

On what evidence do you base this?

Regulatory stockholding announcements on the London Stock Exchange website for holdings >6%, traded volumes and press reports.

High street shops selling cameras with 'knowledgeable' staff who were last seen as 1-star burger !!!!!! at McDonalds aren't going to beat online stores for value and service.

Do you want fries with that?
