Hi I Had Successfull Shop This Morning Bought 2 X Macleans Whitening Toothpaste @ 2.45 And 2 X Macleans Advanced Whitening Toothpaste @ 2.59 Which Totalled 10.08 Before Bogof Theres A Glitch In The System And It Took Off 2.59 For Both My Multisaves I Then Used A £2 Off £8 Spend And A £2.50 Off £10 Spend Which Gave Me 4 Tubes Of Toothpaste For 40p! Not Bad. I Also Used 3 Off The 50p Off Wholefoods Coupons From The Get Active Packs And A Few Other Coupons Too So In Total £8 Worth Off Coupons Quite Happy.
Ps I Used Self Scan Till And The Machine Was Quite Happt To Keep Taking My Vouchers In Total I Used 8 Vouchers Worth £8

How much did you have to spend in the above transaction to use 8.00 worth of vouchers. I used 6.50 worth of vouchers (incl QK) today on selfscan. They all went through ok except for the last one. Till asked for authorisation. The staff at my local store usually authorise all my vouchers without even looking at the screen, but today the SA stared at the till for several minutes, gave me a funny look, then clicked the authorisation button. This is the second time in a week the SS till has asked for authorisation (I think the SA are starting to recognise me now!)

How many vouchers can you get away with using without the till asking for authourisation? I don't want to draw too much attention to myself, although it is probably too late after today!! today I bought goods worth 22.00. After BOGOF and vouchers, I actually spent 12.50

Hmmm a similar thing has happened to me tonight i sympathise with you NE is so annoying:mad:QUOTE]

    And me :(

I was told i can only use 1 of each type of voucher. I bought 4 plax & could only use 1 of the old quit......i also had 3 x £1 off £4 but she would only take 1. Managed to use the £2.50 SB/£2 off £8 / £2.50 peachy H & B so all not totally lost.
But am going to have to shop more carefully in the future.

And as regards the 50 pointers, she would only take 1 of the SB & 1 of the peachy H & B.......last week i got 3 of each through in 1 transaction.

    Hi
Just back from my most successful HandB shop yet. Also healthcare.

As my healthcare I bought 6 packs of Something Extra vitamin bars and when I've checked the dates it says 21/04/07!!
Who should I complain to as I don't want to return them as I never really paid due to vouchers etc??? Is there an e-mail or is it better to phone?

    Thanks
Mine 2 days ago were expired last year and they were so apologetic at Tesco

The last time I bought these on promotion and with the H & B vouchers they were 2 months out of date. I put in a complaint and they ended up sending me a £20 voucher.
    If I had known then what I know now . . .

I have just watched Channel 4's Human Footprint programme showing the amount of stuff we all use in a lifetime ...

They mentioned 364 bottles of shampoo ...

I believe the section on toilertries may have been filmed in Welshy's extension ... :rotfl:

ginjim- I do a £10 toiletry shop( £20 b4 BOGOF) and hand over as many 50pts as I think I can get eg 10 x 50 so 500pts each time and use the money off vouchers.

My total per quarter is not that big compared to others eg £100.
I try not to do it every day but when cut off time comes round for voucher quarter I do go on a mission. If I was doing it every day normally im sure it would flag up on the radar but im not.

It won't work with the Healthcare coupons, but you can still have your free toiletries using the H&B ones above and get £11 off your £10.44 spend ;) .

The Healthcare ones can be used against the Xtra bars on bogof at the mo for £1.49. They also work on pain relief which gets triple points at the mo, and against plasters and the like and condoms etc.

Hope this helps, good luck & let us know how you get on!

    Hi

Can you tell me if the Xtra bars are near the Rosemary Conley bars or somewhere else in the store? I couldn't find them!!

    Thanks for your help.

In my store the Xtra bars were right in between all the aspirins and the family planning stuff! Have not seen the Rosemary Conley bars myself yet, so not sure if they should be in the same place  .
