How much did you have to spend in the above transaction to use 8.00 worth of vouchers. I used 6.50 worth of vouchers (incl QK) today on selfscan. They all went through ok except for the last one. Till asked for authorisation. The staff at my local store usually authorise all my vouchers without even looking at the screen, but today the SA stared at the till for several minutes, gave me a funny look, then clicked the authorisation button. This is the second time in a week the SS till has asked for authorisation (I think the SA are starting to recognise me now!)
How many vouchers can you get away with using without the till asking for authourisation? I don't want to draw too much attention to myself, although it is probably too late after today!! today I bought goods worth 22.00. After BOGOF and vouchers, I actually spent 12.50
IN ABOVE MENTIONED TRANSACTION I HAD SPEND £24 USED £8 VOUCHERS,IM NOT SURE HO WIT WORKS IE HOW MANY THE TILL WILL LET YOU USE I USUALLY USE THE ONES FOR PRODUCTS I HAVE NOT BOUGHT FIRST SO IF IT DOES BEEP ITS A GENUINE ONE AND THE WILL USUALLY ALLOW THAT0 -
I hate the self-scanners I find myself feeling much more uncomfortable on them whilst scanning away, at my store they even ask for authorisation if they are 50 pointers. I would rather go to a SA and hear him say no or yes to all my vouchers, rather than have a self scanning assistant breathing over my shoulder.
I do use a fair share of vouchers and it is very rare I will use the self-scanners I have more success with male cashiers !

Yes I now feel the same about SS tills, although would never have dreamt in December I would be saying this......as I (extremely successfully) used 100% SS then.
Unfortunately I have more success with male cashiers as well....................lolCouponing....."every little hurts"

I had a terrible start to my day I knew things wernt going to be good when i checked my mail...............anyway went out.....couldnt get my sums right today at all.........first three transactions......added them up all wrong....luckily still only paid pennies, but couldnt understand my bad maths, obviously had my mind on other things......
Came home, realised if i'd stopped in 5 minutes longer this morning the good news i was expecting would have arrived...............
Happy now, I went out again and hit the same 3 stores and another two, and at the end of the day did 8 x£24 HandB, and 8 x £8 HC (together), and paid less than a tenner........but not a Yellow in sight........and no 30/05 £2's around either, or Quit packs.
All shops today with either none or very little "padding".......just as a trial....no problems at all.Couponing....."every little hurts"

I guess it depends if you'd prefer free toiletries and waste a voucher or pay pennies and get more toiletries?
You could buy 12x Impulse @ £1.86
£22.32
less bogof £11.16
Less £2.50 x3
less £2
less £1
leaves 66p to pay using ALL above coupons if I'm correct

Sorry to quote a long post, do you mean T&B £2.00 off £8.00 spend that expire 20/05/07 (Not 30/05/07) Just checking I'm not missing something.
Easy typo error to make number 2 near 3.
