*NEW* Tesco H&B Vouchers - *See First Post for UPDATES*

I felt a real sense of relief today when I managed to use up all of my remaining H&B vouchers before they expired!
I only had original Quit vouchers and some So Beautiful £2 off £8 spend so used £9 in total. I left my £1 Plax vouchers next to the Plax as nobody in our house can stand the stuff - typical!
Only ones that haven't gone are the Colgate ones - forgot to leave them out for other shoppers as I was planning on doing.
Have absolutely no H&B vouchers left now - don't think I could cope with any more H&B shops!!!0 -
Hullo all,
Just to let you know theres a new swap site, (went live a few hours ago), its purley for swapping and giving away coupons with a little chat thrown in.
Not many members yet as it only just gone live, please give it a chance hopefully in a week or so there will be loads of swaps available.

Not a good shop for me today. Spent £30 in toiletries and gave in my vouchers for money off and points. Girl looks, laughs (not a good sign) and says you can only use 1 voucher in total now, do you want a 50 pointer or this £1.25 off as you've bought fusion blades and the pictures on the front!!
I politely declined and asked her to just void the toiletries off the total. Then a total of four, yes four supervisors came over to have a look, one thought she could put the points vouchers on but another said NO. They'd had a meeting through the week to inform all staff of voucher abuse and would now only accept one voucher. Gutted. Wanted my extra points used by tomorrow. May try another store tomorrow to see if this is just a local issue.0 -

Definitely local, I handed over 42 vouchers today ( Thanks again Leadhead ) on one transaction & the young lad gave me 2 back that wouldn't scan with a sincere apologetic face. Bless him.
Longest receipt I've had to date.
1 voucher per transaction seems pathetic, for instance if you buy clothes, lurpak butter & t&b you should be able to use the lurpak at least one clothes coupon & 1 t&b. That's what vouchers are for.
Good Luck.0 -

I thought I could do a biggish H&B shop today £20 H&B and £16 Healthcare, went to the store and my favourite happy scanning SA was there.
When I got to the checkout, he said he had to take a break and I was the last one he could serve, they had to take their breaks at specific times.
He asked me if I had lots of coupons and said yes, he'd have time to scan them.
He scanned a few, then another SA came and took over. He was saying one of each. He only took one plax coupon, I'd bought 4 bottles. Only one set of healthcare coupons accepted, I'd bought over £16's worth, none on bogof.
It all ended quite well. I used giftcards to pay the balance plus a few pence in cash.
I found it all quite stressful this past month, all the calculating, coupon combining and finding an SA willing to scan them.
I have saved a LOT of money though.
I think I'll go back to small H&B shops and only offering one of each coupon.
I'm glad so many of the coupons will expire in the next couple of days.0 -
Someone clever on here will tell you how to combine loads of these and save you a fortune!!!
I used some 60p Radox vouchers (off the back of Shower cream) and they scanned with anything, your Radox 1 might if you try just handing it in with your bundle!!!
I downloaded the impulse bodyspray 75p voucher and that works on anything too.
I had a really good Tesco shop today ....but was a bit flustered. The shop was very crowded and several of the things I wanted were not on the shelf. I was trying to do two shops at the same time. One for 'mum' and one for me so that I could maximise my vouchers.( Too much for me to handle. I should have gone round twice) Anyway I slipped on some spilt fabric softener ,bashed my knee on the trolly and banged my other knee on the floor. I really wanted to cry, but hobbled off to find a SA so it could be cleaned up before someone else hurt themselves. I was asked if I wanted to put it in the accident book but said no as I didn't want to draw attention to myself.( I was on a mission to get rid of as many vouchers as poss.)
Once I got to the check out I started to shake and was really quite wobbly. I mentioned the incidernt to the young SA who then related a similar story as she happily scanned all my vouchers.
I had an excellent result but now I am wondering if I should have reported the incident as I have a very bruised and swollen knee .
