i only work 2 shifts a week in a small seaside store on the north norfolk coast jst got in from said store.unfortunitly can't help with clothes vouchers as we only sell few kids undies socks tights etc. to my knowledge(gossip is rife in stores) no one we no has been warned about coupons all we do is scan them all in if they go threw fine if they don't very few of us have aurthority to add them manually this has to be done by cs or manager.think best time to use more vouchers is when it v v busy.we all have targets to keep and no1 has time to spend reading vouchers with tons pepole waiting to b served which will send our "threw put time" sky high- big rollicking from them up higher than us:eek: don't go to new staff as if they aren't sure they will always ask supervisor for help.hope this helps all you voucher loving peeps.. by the way apart from quit packs in staff canteen my store has had no other packs available. kicked up about it to mate on cs.its being looked into.

Sandy, I used to be like you, I better not hand over wads of vouchers, better only take the bill half way. Find a willing cashier learn their shifts & you're in. I now pay pennies for £80.00 of shopping after inspiration from Leadheads posts & others.
What's the worst that could happen a ban! Try somewhere else.
It will come to an end like R&R so may as well take the pee out of it whilst you can.

This doesnt sound like a good idea to me. All your are doing is drawing attention to yourself handing over large quantities of coupons this way. It will only end in tears I think.

Best thing to do is spread your coupon usage out in smaller spends.

Please tellme, how in any slight way am i drawing attention to myself......that is UTTER RUBBISH...................I dont wish to give Tescos any of my money.

Its far easier to do a clothes, HandB and HC in one go.....this was only a small one....compared to others

I carefully select my SA's, i got refused today(by someone who took them last week), picked the lot up, went 4 tills up and he took the lot.

You see, theres 2 types of SA, those that do, those that dont(or have a limit), its matterless to the former(imho) how many they take.

Ive done over 100 big shops(over £80), been refused 4 times, never drawn any attention to myself.

I'm not going to continue this debate, as i can see where its heading, so as far as i am concerned............each to his own.

Till receipt on way to doubting oh.....
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

as acoupon user and accepter(???) my best bet is simply to hand over vouchers & ask 4 them all to be scanned to see what will go threw if they do this and they make the right beep theres nothing they can do regardless of voucher u win:p if not & u want 2 u can take it to cs as i said before very few of us on checkouts have aurthority to manually change things.we notice & remember peeps who get snotty or argue with us so mayb just shrug and say oh well(don't forget their policies on returning items such as clothes...if you can't use vouchers you want) mayb some stores especially bigger ones not in middle of nowhere might have slighly dif policy but t#### guidelines are usually posted nationwide. this is not meant to put anyone down or criticise just sharing my experiences from both sides of the fence(that sounds painfull....):D

Borderlakland = do you want to tell us which days you work in the afforementioned store?

I might pop along as I know which one you are referring to...it could be like a puzzle to try and work out which SA you are.....
    Tesco is my second home

What i want to know is - where do you find all the coupons? I've looked in 6 Tescos over the last 2 months and all we have are actives (pretty useless on their own).

have never seen the new quits, £6 yellows or new strips of yellows or the peachy or red ones.

So Leadhead - don't you ever run out of them?
