No sassi......hadnt spotted that one,
I hope were not going to play 20 questions all night..............................lol
Did a few free HC shops today, just to make up for what i missed after only getting HC for a week....no bother.
Buy one bogof however and they're still free, even after the loss of todays coupon.Couponing....."every little hurts"

No You haven't, Your post wasnt there when i was typing my reply....anyway...didnt you notice i didnt quote any specific post, one tends to get ones head bitten off if one does, ive found its far safer in a predominently female forum, to be rather vague.............lol (IMHO of course)

I'm turning this over in my mind but(IMHO)......I feel bad going somewhere else, as it means i'm not getting freebies and as i dont let the unappreciative Tesco's get me down, the freebies win...............Although its nice to check out how the other half lives.

Well the old part of the house has been knocked into the extension via an archway on the landing so now I can access my walk in wardrobes and store some toiletries. Hopefully, the days of stepping over bags of toiletries are over.
I have bought many of the tesco wine carriers (blue plastic material) reduced to clear at 20p and these have been great for keeping my toiletries upright. I wasn't sure if I would do any more h&b but Mum has given me a list of her favourites so I may do a couple more and DD1 likes the face wipes which I hardly ever find in my stores.
As for the trouble I had yesterday, I haven't heard anything yet, then again knowing that store I doubt if they will even give me the courtesy of a response.
One of the Tescos I go to has a new Somerfield being built by it, so they will be facing more competition soon.

Sorry to hear about the trouble you had yesterday, good for you you stood your ground and asked for the manager :T .
I did a H&B run yesterday to get rid of a stash of coupons that expired 29/04, got more free Colgate, Impulse & Plax and money of my shopping. Wanted to use some Healthcare ones too, but the Xtra bars had 2006 expiry dates  , so left those, no Seven Seas bogof tablets left, and could not see another way of getting healthcare stuff for free, so rather then spend money to use the coupons I just left it. Quite a relief to get rid of the 29/04 ones. And chatted to my fave SA and found out more about his shifts.
Will return some clothes this week from a clothes shop that actually cost me money  , and will have a good look around for yellow vouchers. So far have not seen any New Quit Kits anywhere and stores are running out of the Get Active ones near me.🥳🥳 SW -6st 3.5lbs 🥳🥳0 -
I had a rubbish day today, trying to frantically use all my coupons etc, I'll tell you what I purchased and maybe someone can tell me where I went wrong:
HB
2 natrel BOGOF £1.65
2 Radox 2 for £2
Colgate whitening treatment £3.49
Used £2.50 HB, £1.25 toiletry, these were rejected: £1 toiletry, 40p colgate and all beauty vouchers
Healthcare
4 x Extra bars £1.49 BOGOF
1 pk plasters £1.23
1 oilbas oil for kids £1.58
Used: £2 active voucher, £2 old QK, rejected £1 healthcare (pink) £2 Qk new
Luckily I had some 100 point vouchers for colgate whitening and 100 points when you spend £5 or more on healthcare! Feel like returning the whitening treatment! LOL, but i won't.
So I ended up paying over £3 odd. The WORST THING I used the 2 60p radox vouchers and ended up being CHARGED £1.48!! I couldn't let it go, so I returned and lovely SA refunded the money plus gave me the £1.20 off, also returned a pack of prawns which I estimated at around £3 ish, not £4.50 which it was!!
At least I'm up with my points balance. Any words of wisdom why this didn't work? Ooh last but not least, on a £23 shop, only ONE wholefoods coupon would work.
Not my day at all!"I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0 -
Colgate wouldn't work as whitening treatment not listed on colgate voucher-just checked this one myself in store 2 hours ago!
Can't answer the others though as the £1 toiletry should have worked if the £1.25 did?Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

I'm wondering if the SA was scanning the vouchers too fast, theres no logic at all in the process......unless it was an SA rejection and not the till.
Are you sure the refusal came from a "till beep".
In the first lot, the till accepted you had spent £10 by accepting the £2.50 voucher(but your sums dont add up to £10)....I cant understand why the other HandB or the £1 off £4 toiletry wasnt accepted, when a £1.25 off £5 was.
In the second lot, you clearly spent enough as at least 2 £2 off £8 were accepted.
Regardless of the combination....the till accepted you spent £10 HandB and £8 HC...........cant understand why it should reject some....unless your other HandB were out of date(29/04)
As for the wholefood coupon, i had a load accepted yesterday, and i didnt even buy any food, never mind wholefood.Couponing....."every little hurts"

Hey all, so sorry to hear about Welshy and Deebees recent problems at Tesco (Hugs!) Hope it all gets sorted soon.
Just a few things;
Not sure if anyones brought this up already (sorry if yes) but when I was in tesco yesterday I found that a couple of things on offer arent on the special offers page of the website. I know somebody had mentioned hayfever tablets but I didnt realise they were on BOGOF. Its the clarityn, zirtek, benadryl and piriteze if anyones interested. (This does come up if you search for them)
Also, Tesco's own Omega 3 for vegetarians and vegans is on BOGOF. Very, Very good for me as I didnt even know it existed let alone free at Tesco! (This doesnt come up on a search but it is on the supplements shelf. Its written as tesco vegetarianomega 3 caps, no space so a search for vegetarian or omega 3 doesnt bring it up  ) HTH somebody.
Also, has anyone noticed the active packs gone from thier store? They have in mine anyway, not a sign. Just hope its making way for new quit :j
I tried the ski coupon on fromage frais and it didnt work BTW.
I also nearly had a heart attack when one of my lads started looking through all my vouchers instead of just scanning them as he usually does. Scanned them all in the end though. I think he was checking expiry dates but the lady behind me who just wanted a bag of sugar didnt look very impressed. It was about 60 vouchers over 2 transactions though.
Thanks, Isabelle xReclaiming for family and friends. Won 4/13 so farHSBC CC - £263.25, Halifax CC - £179.45, HFC PPI - £589.00, HSBC PPI - £498.86, Lloyds PPI 1 - £4000
