  • Squirrels are tree rats, I have lads of them on my land and they are a pain in the @rse some are even in the roof of the old cottages that we bought in March .

I dIdnt think you needed a license to shoot squirrels....

One of our biker friends shoots and cooks them on a bbq, been meaning to ask him to come over and have a go at popping some of ours....

In my opinion honey is going to sky rocket in price. It is on my stockpile list for sure.

  • I am in the same situation as you! I have hundreds of tins, jars and packets stashed away (offers/bargains I couldn't refuse!) and two freezers crammed full of stuff with yellow stickers - an upright with 5 drawers and a smallish chest freezer. Every week I go shopping with only fruit, veg and dairy on my list and I am determined not to buy anything else, but I always see some bargain to tempt me - OH thinks I need therapy for obsessive stockpiling!!

A few yrs ago we had 2 fridgefreezers and a small freezer. One by one they all died and we go a fab deal on a American style ff. Its not just the price hikes that scare me its the fear of loosing an already low income. Your post sums up me too. I know I'm ocd about shopping but can't resist those stickers. Theres very little room to put anything but I still keep shopping and theres only 2 Of us and 2 cats ! Only veg is frozen peas. Rest is meat and fish.
