Dad put a camera on ebay and it sold in the time it took me to make scrambled eggs  The buyer is only three miles away and he'd get £20-odd more doing cash on delivery rather than paypal but he wants it signed for and won't be convinced otherwise.

What sort of camera was it ? might have been a valuable one which is why it sold so quick, OH is a camera buff, and is interested to know what it was, hope you are ok xx

Donny, congrats to the happy couple, shall we buy hats ? :D

Lamewolf, my mums dog is my dogs sister, they are terriers border cross lakeland, but she is spoilt, and will often pee indoors, despite the fact that she went out for a wee last thing.

Absolutely shattered here again, been stripping paint off of the radiator most of the day, as well as painting, and various other diy jobs.

    Have good evenings all xx

Molly - stop here with us, we're friendly:) I occasionally venture further afield and have soon run back here where everyone is so nice.
I always mention my housework as OS - this is the daily thread and so I mention what I'm doing every day, is it was all strictly OS then half the time I'd have no reason to post;)

Had a lovely afternoons shopping with Taplord. Bought myself a sketchbook to use when I'm out and about to make sketches and quick paintings of places I go. A lady in my art class does one and its fascinating to look through it. Sort of like a pictorial diary iykwim.

Also spent some of my Next gift card:)

Leftover pasta bake for tea with salad and veggie sausages.

X factor now and feet up.

    take care all x

Evening all, hope everyone is well tonight.

    Sad news about Neill Armstrong.

DG, good news for you, best get looking for your hat, have they set a date yet?

Molly, I skip through some of the other threads but always end up back here, so friendly, I have made lots of lovely friends, gained alot of information and help and always need my daily fix, even if I don't post as often as I should.

As for OS, well I do try but am not always successful. So what did I do so far today, not a lot to be honest. Weather has been really cr*p today, some sunshine but more really very heavy showers so no gardening but OH did the washing by hand, just hung it out on the line before the spares arrived but hey ho, means I can do another wash tonight, just switch on the machine before I go to bed. Also need to put on the dishwasher before bed. Collected my car today, 410 euro lighter, but hey ho, I am trying not to think about that bit. Couple of manky carrots in the fridge so made a big pot of Katsu Curry sauce which I will freeze in portions. I was not really a curry fan but found this on another MSE thread and we all love it. Some bread was going a bit mouldy so took of the coloured bits, dried slices in the oven, when I was cooking the HM pizza for tea so now I have a bag in the freezer for stuffing etc and a container in the fridge which I mix with salt, pepper, garlic powder, herbs and some parmesan, great for simple pasta dish or sprinkled on top of sheperds pie etc. Just finished watching Airplane and now OH has turned on football so thats my cue to head to bed. Night night all, hope you sleep well and dream wonderful dreams.

I don't have a clue sorry. He always does a BIN 10% under the recent sale prices for a quick sale and will stick some random freebie in the box - a spare battery this time. Too generous if you ask me :p Better than people who routinely add an extra £2 on to postage, makes me so silly angry I often won't buy from them, I only ever add 20p to cover the cost of packaging.

    dg congratulations :j

monnagran well done to your dgd

We even had that vile bog roll when I was at school, I remember it right up til 2000. Mind you we also had desks with ink wells marked 1953 and bare brick walls so maybe it was some sort of vintage theme :rotfl:
