    I thought you hated university??

As a student, but I can not see any other careers than working at a university. I can not really any other career for me.

  • Though it would be illegal for them not to give me the job on the grounds I have had disability concerns as that would be discrimination-- so I might still have a chance.

Whenever you get an interview and you are rejected you cannot come back and say that they have discriminated against you because you are disabled.

    You are very immature.

Are you sure you are at University????

Well first thing to say - You've made a !!!! up good and proper here! I wouldn't employ someone who badmouths my procedures and staff even before they set foot in the door.

    BUT

More importantly, you say that you would get too upset and annoyed at the injustices,
From my browsing of this site you seem passionate about equality and disabled persons rights etc and often rant and rave at people on here.

Instead of just sitting on your bum moaning, wouldnt it be rewarding to be a positive force in reaching justice for disabled people - it wouldn't be all doom and gloom! But you won't listen, you'll just plod along......

    There's do'ers - many people on here
There's Moaners - people who make no real positive contribution but are the first to moan about any 'injustice'

    Sort it out

Don't they have organisers for conferences in the private sector aswell phil?...you may only know about working at uni because thats where you bin for the last 3 years......and what about my great encouraging suggestion for another career route.....

Theres plenty of options out there but again i think your being narrow-minded. Not the perfect example, but i want to be a criminal prosecutor but i know that job isn't going to be given to be immediately, so i've gained experience in defence work - which in some cases is just as rewarding and gets me a bit closer to what i want to do...... what i'm trying to say is, think outside of that tiny box of yours and see the other possibilities!!

I know I have stuffed this up!!

There is still a God and God knows why he loves me as I am such a bad person sometimes

But I have been doing my researching and there is a better job that I am more suited to at another university near me so I might still be able to get a job. Forget all this rubbish, learn from it as i have found a job I can do that is better.
