Mobile phone signal boosters

Just wanted to ask if the signal boosters which sell on ebay work? Has anyone had any experiences with these?

I have tried them in a few phones and I would say its a complete waste of money, didnt boost my signal any more than it was already getting. If you are in a bad signal area then changing networks is the only solution. These are probably one of the inventions shown on dragons den that were laughed at !!!

The first thing you can do is make sure that you do not cover the internal aerial with your hand when you hold your mobile phone. This is usually in the top part of the phone. You may also want to turn around and see if that affects your signal.

These "boosters" will usually be housed where the battery is, which is probably where you hold it anyway.

i've got a box of them somewhere left over from my mobile shop. i used to give them away to people who used the shop. Some people would say they worked but i never noticed any difference.
