I have no idea if this is a good deal or not but I've just found one on amazon - £250 for a premium package, including wireless controller, hard drive, 12 month live membership, etc.. But if you add Halo 2 in your basket and type in the code on the page below, you get halo 2 free.

So £249.99 for XBOX 360 premium and Halo 2.

Any good? There are other deals on the link too :

I thought that with the Elite system coming out that the ordinary "white" coloured systems would come down in price a wee bit.... although the Black is much better looking.....

I've just found a Limited Edition Halo 3 edition of the Xbox 360 for £278.99. It says in the description that it has a HDMI port so I am assuming it's the Elite version: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/132482

I'd imagine that it is the Elite version, but Microsoft are/have released (very quietly) a version of the Premium with HDMI output. They've not announced it as such, it's simply an update of the old Premium model, except it now has HDMI. Oh, and it runs cooler too, as it's a smaller die size for the chips, so hopefully no more red-ring-of-deaths!

Best deal I could find: Xbox 360 Pro (Premium with HDMI) from Currys, £237 using the 5% coupon that's kicking around at the mo (home delivery only), and go through topcashback.co.uk for a further 3.5%, making it £229 all in.

But if you want Halo 2 then the deal with amazon works out cheaper. And no faffing about with cashback

But I'm just wondering if the ones from amazon have got this new HDMI thingy?? Cos it doesn't mention it on the page. But then again there is no other item with HDMI included...

How about this :

Halo 3 special edition XBOX Premium, with HDMI, 12 month live membership, wireless controller, AND Halo 3 or Gotham Racing 4 for £279.99!!!

And add an extra £20 and you get FIFA 08 OR Medal of Honor: Airborne included.

I'm pretty tempted now
