Ours has been on once, maybe twice to urgently dry clothes
Only 2 adults here though and we love fleecy dressing gowns, socks and wrap around blankets so we're quite warm, plus it's a terraced house

It pays to put it on for a few bursts during the summer just to make sure your system doesn't seize up/is still working. You don't want to find out it doesn't work with the first spot of cold weather.0
