Morning all,
Hope all is well in your respective worlds.
Was looking to a quiet end to the week as not expecting anyone today, arrive at work and have three sets of contractors wanting to get in early. Oh well, means i have nothing booked in for next week now which is nice.
Had some good news last night, the chicken coop i lent to a friend of ours is being returned tomorrow. so that will give me some thing to do over the weekend, then BH monday off to the local suppliers for a couple of girls.
take care all and have a good day.Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today!
Cos if you do it today and like it...You can do it again tomorrow..

Morning all
HH - enjoy Oxford!
adelight - glad ur enjoying the new job, it's scary how much people spend on food isn't it?! When I started my job 4 years ago, all the boys would buy lunch @£5 a day and jokingly laugh at my leftovers/salad etc that I would bring daily. But I've noticed now that they all bring lunch pretty much everyday now :rotfl:.
Today I was meant to be going to Cardiff with my friends to meet up with our other friend and her little one, but she just text to say the little one is ill so has to cancel. Bit gutted as was looking forward to seeing them both. But instead me and the girls are going shopping in another town, Carmarthen, for a change as we have all been to Cardiff recently anyways. Should be a nice day regardless.
OS wise - not much needs doing, dinner will be freezer surprise probably curry as there is lots of it in there!
Have a good day all

Good morning to all before and after me.
Well i was over the moon with DS1 GCSE resulte 9 B and 1 C but you would have thought he had failed them all with the look on his face, as he was expecting higher grades in some areas. It means he is off to his preferred College. I just feel so sorry for the students who thought they had worked hard for a C and got Ds in English after they changed the scales.
Will finish clearing spare room tonight, i have lots of books for the charity shop to sort out0 -
morning!
looking forward to my weekend off:j
Off to work at lunchtime for a late shift but am calling into Ludlow to spend a gift voucher for Fat Face on my way:)
Have cleaned through, mopped the floors and the WM is on. Popping into town to do a few jobs and go to the library shortly.
HH - how sad for your DDs grandma x x x
I have yet to investigate the Hairy Dieters but I'm looking forward to catching up with the programmes over the weekend.
Have a great day all xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Morning all,
Bright and sunny here, I thought we were due rain, got a wash on the go and will hang that on the line.
The rest of the house is covered in dust an inch thick, I keep cleaning it, hoovering and mopping, and its clean for about 1 hour, seeing as we have no flooring in the lounge the dust gets everywhere, so I have decided to leave it till after we have finished and give it all a good clean then, the bathroom and kitchen are clean which is the main thing.
DD is still in bed, will leave her, she has worked 6 days this week, today is her one day off, and they asked her to go in, she loves the job, but really needs to recharge her batteries, so I managed to persuade her to take the day off.
Well done to all those fantastic exam results :T
Hester I am sorry about your MIL, ignore the ex, he is (quite rightly) feeling guilty.
Have good days all
Not sure whats for dinner, will go and check.0 -
Good morning all, quick one from me this morning, getting a sly look into MSE while at work. So glad its Friday, its been a looong week at work. Gray and cool today, with promises of rain, whats new. OS for today, leftovers from last nights dinner for lunch. Hoping to hear about my car today, and hoping its not tooo expensive, on the upside the 'new' to us car going great. Also hoping to hear if I can get the parts for my washing machine otherwise we are going to have to budget hard to replace it so I will be hand washing alot this weekend. Its not a huge issue, except that I cannot wring clothes out as well as the washer so they will take sooo much longer to dry, but needs must. Not much more than that really, need to deep clean the main bathroom and throw a hoover around the whole house that thats pretty much Saturday taken care of. Need to see my parents as well this weekend, to check up on Dad, but that's it pretty much. Sorry to hear about your MIL HH, your ex needs a slap!
Will try to check in later, have a good one folks.Cait, at long last signing on:rotfl:0 -

Morning Hester (and all),
Moorhen, small world. The family on my Mothers side is from Walsall Wood. They can stay there as well as they are as awkward as she is.
I told you yesterday about my old RE teacher being in contact with that vile scumbag Ian Brady, well with further digging i find he is Bradys legal heir.
I always thought there was something odd about him. Maybe he was just too nice i dont know.
Well its just gone 10am and someone has hacked me off already. I think ive got a good weekend ahead of me if the rest of the weekend follows the same path as its started. Still, if i got my priorities right i wouldnt be so bothered... or thats what i tell myself anyway.:(
Still, onwards and forwards eh? Have a good Friday all ::)This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Hi all.
Hester sorry about ex-MiL's illness; great that she liked the flowers, though (I love freesias, too!) I'd say knickers to the ex - if he cba to send flowers or a card or something that's his problem!i like it, i think headlight ought to be his nicknameI told you yesterday about my old RE teacher being in contact with that vile scumbag Ian Brady, well with further digging i find he is Bradys legal heir.
Ted's arrived;:T he's a lot tidier than he was last time, as he's had his coat stripped back (he's a border terrier, and they don't shed in the same way as - say - a Labrador, so they have to have their excess coat stripped out periodically). Unfortunately, his owners must've packed in a hurry, as he doesn't have a towel or his food and water dishes with him.:( I've found some he can borrow though, so it's not a major problem - he has his food and treats and his beanbag, which is the important stuff.;) He's also got anti-flybotics, which I'm told he needs to have twice daily, pressed into a little bit of cheese.:o He's snoozing on the sofa as I type.:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
