Ive found a good one who I always try to go to, I flash him a nice smile ;) and he always give me 30 points for bag reuse although I only buy enough shopping to fill one bag for life usually. He also gives me some of my coupons back for me to use again. I think he thinks I fancy him as I always go to his till. Well, Im not going to tell him any different am I? :p
    I really have no shame.

No, its not just you ladies that have success with young lads.....I was going to rephrase this, but didnt......Unfortunately though, unlike my daughter, I can't flash my eyelashes and get them to take over £100 worth of vouchers and 17x 50pointers, and still get them to say..."have you got any more".......
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

If you used a lot of coupons with the expensive Nivea, it does away with the theory, that "the tills wont accept more coupons than the number of items bought" (eg 6 coupons if only buying 4 items), as was mentioned a couple of weeks ago..................thats good to know.........I have purposely not bought the expensive items because of this.

I think this theory was only related to points coupons, although from my own experience this doesnt work either, last week I bought 8 items totalling £20 and only 6 points vouchers scanned. I dont know. Although, looking at my reciept, I see that two items were under £2. I dont know if that wouldve made a difference. Id love to know others thoughts on this as I really dont like that horrible 'your coupons havnt been accepted' noise.

XXisabelle has answered your question. However I'm still having to buy a couple of bits so not to fall into minus £s' to pay. I presume this would need to be authorised for the cashier to give you money back, then questions asked.

The till just beeps on the coupon that takes you into the negative, they then (usually) just give you the remainder of your coupons back.

If it needed supervisor authorisation, I would imagine a supervisor voiding the whole transaction, reprimanding the cashier, and (if you wished to continue)rescanning only a few of your coupons.

IMHO..dont ever go down that road of supervisor intervention.....they know the rules!!
