No it is a huawei E353 HSPA+ usd stick

But i just tried it in my other pc and its throwing up the same error msg!

seems like this time it might be the dongle after all?

i will get onto three about it, but it does appear to be working fine......

hmmm...it is beginning to sound like it's the dongle itself if it won't work on another pc, they were designed to be plug'n'play without having to install drivers....

I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple :D

    It was the dongle

But three had cut my connection from they're end, they said my laptop had been sending out spam emails all over the place?!

They said i most probably had a virus but seemed to say that even if i had done a factory reset on the laptop (which i have) then it might still not get rid of the virus?

They also wanted me to purchase anti-virus as they said many of the free ones werent good/effective enough to catch all virus's?

What do you guys think, i have run an avast full scan and it came back with nothing.....

Spam emails and presence of a virus possible.

Still there after factory reset - bullsh!t

    Purchase AV - Corporate Bullsh!t

Run Avast full scan (done) and Malwarebytes full scan. If they both detect nothing, it's almost certainly clean.
