Hi Everyone,
What a brand new Inn! Fantastic, thanks Glad, never mind the oldies (me) we will soon catch on. Thanks for all the effort you and the others put in to keep us up and running.
B.Sue, have you found your way back yet?
Becks, hope you get some texts today, lol, thats the excuse I use when I want a new phone. Works as well, got a blackbery which I love.
Sheils, that pear cider sounds lovely, you were at the Inn early this morning, I think you even beat F.Fly today, lovely pics too. Sounds really busy where you are this weekend so hope you manage to park, we are just 2 miles out of our city and its expensive to park so we use our bus pass (being an oldie its free).
F.F. lovely pics from you again today, nothing unusual there though they are always great. Looked at the time when you said you were off to comp and when you came back and said you were up to date - about 3 hours, well done.
B.Girl - You will soon get the hang of the new Inn.
Tulip - Have you found the Inn yet or are you too busy off seeing h your friends having a good time - how do you find the time to comp you always seem so busy. Just jealous, its lovely hearing about someone having fun, enjoy.
You OK Wingo?
Sorry if I have missed anyone.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
Sheils it is even more of a bargain when i take into account that i change in London and my ticket includes my tube as well so £18.50 from stoke to poole via london is brilliant. Doing the tube on my own is unnerving but i am getting better. Had big panic attacks first few times i did it. Hope I can get joutney back for a similar price. Grateful for getting the advance fares as without them i'd never be able to afford to go and see my mate.£2 Savers Club for 2022 #120

MY DD took the train on her trip to York last week it cost a fortune! Well over £100 each and that was from London, they had more to pay for the journey from Ashford International into London.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

One of my dopey sisters booked the train from Carlisle to London on the cheap and then went an hour early by mistake and had to pay the difference when she was caught which for the 3 of them was nearly £100 I think. The train had been nearly empty as well.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Oh dear sheils. Yeah thats the only thing with the advance is its specific trains only so you have to be on the right one
Was very un MSE last night as ordered myself some new clothes. Suppise it doesnt hurt to treat myself occasionally (although the boots at £65 were a bit of an extravagance) still can always send them back if i don't like :rotfl:£2 Savers Club for 2022 #120 -

I don't know whether I'm slow on the uptake or what, but I was quite chuffed last night when I was doing the magazine comps. I used to have 2 windows open side by side, one with the answers and one with the form and then just type the answers up. I discovered last night that I could just highlight the answers then drag them across, D'oh! Really good when the answers are long ones.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

yep, i've been doing that for years BS, once i'd posted them on the comps sites i'd go back after a couple of days & paste/copy them into the form, lots easier than keep typing out
