had to look it up myself earlier as we'd all been talking about it, BIL had visited a friend & he gave him some, so now he's wanting for xmas pressie :eek:
seems quite popular now again & there's a few ways to have it

Morning all,

Been pouring down all night here but dry at moment. Can't believe how heavy the rain is when it comes on. Hope it will be better for the weekend as there is loads of stuff on here for the end of our 6 weeks of Summer Festivities - Parade, pipeband,singing etc , Vintage car Rally,fun run at weekend and Tattoo at castle followed by fireworks on Monday night. Don't go to much but like all the visitors to have a nice time. TBH it will be nice to see the town quieter. When the weather is bad everyone comes in to town from the caravan sites so you can't park etc.
Hope everyone has a lucky end to the week.

been raining here most of the night as well though not as heavy as yours sounds, hopefully it'll stay away for the day & come back tonight

your festivities sound great, i've some relatives that live at a popular seaside town & same as you they love to see the visitors enjoy but always say it's nice to have the place back to 'normal' after they've gone :j

not a bad start to the day this end for a change
DH is feeling better & up early this morning :j
no cornflakes though :rotfl:making toast & marmalade

my colds clearing & not so fuzzy headed today :j
no doggy walking today so can get on with stuff in the house & comps & do the tesco shop :j

Dh is full of curiosity. He got a letter off parcelforce saying they are holding a parcel for him as they couldn't redeliver. I was my usual doubting self and not convinced its genuine . He is going to ring the local office this morning and see what they say. I am still unsure as he never gets parcels etc ;-) unless its sonething ive entered for him (which i rarely do) mmmm curious very curious as the wand man says on Harry Potter

Imanaged to book one way of my train trip to see the best mate in nov last night. Got one was for £18.50 thanks to the trainlines advance ticket email notification. Just waiting for the return leg to be same price now.

Its great the way you get the rail bargains Becks. Our nearest station is nearly 30 miles away so not any good for us especially as we would need to do several changes to get anywhere. New car is really economical anyway and got 30p a litre off the last fill from Tesco (£15). Could the parcel be a late wedding present?
Just received 2 Waterstones books from FB -" Turbulence" & "Charlotte Markham and the House of Darkling" Only seem to win the FB ones now which is strange as I always review them.

We'll have to use our sniffer dogs if we get lost wingo. I hope yours is good because Cooper couldn't sniff his way out of a paper bag

I have a feeling it's going to be a long day, next door have workmen in and they have a red van. I keep seeing a glimpse of red out of the window and getting all excited! Might even have to pull the curtains
