Morning all have resorted to getting the bus earlier on a different route as can't risk the other one being late again. Really frustrates me having to leave my house an hour and a half before i start work on a sunday just to get to work on time. The bus i usually get has been getting later and later so just can't take the chance (it will be bang on time today probably)
Bit chilly out. Hope everyone has a lovely day£2 Savers Club for 2022 #120 -
It's a 'Hopping' morning Becks. Bright but cold with a heavy dew. Did anyone here ever go 'Hop Picking'. I can remember as a child being taken a couple of times by Mum and Dad as Mum's Sister and her Husband used to come down from London to do the picking. It was a big thing for Londoners to visit Kent for that. They used to live in big huts for a week or two, it was their annual holiday but they earned money at the same time.
Just put a great big piece of pork in the oven that was a half price offer at Tesco, more in the hope that it will warm the house up than anything, it's really nippy. DH is out with the Cooper and I've just noticed he's left his phone here, so if Coops plays up and won't come back he can't call me. I'll give him another 15 minutes then wander over if he's not back.

Great pics Sylvia! You're well away with them now! :T glad you got your fence done....think I'll show my DH your pic!
We did laugh about the pizza fire**fly! He stood there holding the empty plate for a few seconds before laughing! It did land face down Sue!
Glad you enjoyed your night fire**flyits nice to eat out once in a while.
Hope you manage to get through the comps lilrahi! Too many for me to look!
Becks, hope your working day goes quick. I've never had a parcel that late neither! The latest was when I won two huge boxes of minstrels, m&m's etc and they came around 7pm! I would have still been happy though if they came at 11pm! :rotfl:
Sorry I didn't get back in later, I went to bed with a headache. Had some really funny dreams though, that I took the kids to soft play and there was a bed in there that I could sleep in and another where I rode a horse to my mums and it was sat in her living room! where did that come from?
Never went hop picking Sue, went tatie picking though! I was back breaking!Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -

Morning all,
Felt quite tired after our 2 days away. DH went to bed early and didn't waken until nearly 8.30! I always feel you rush about too much when you are just away for one night.
Glad you had a nice meal FF - we had one at our hotel on Friday night. DH said the steak was perfect and he is really fussy about it being rare. I had a nice steak pie.
If anyone wants to do any more fences ours could do to be replaced.
Everyone will be pleased to know I started my Xmas shopping! I used my Arcadia voucher to get some little things for DS3 & DD.
I also got a free purple mini speaker for iPods etc from O2 Rewards so that is being put away too. O'h well it is a start!
It is raining here which is annoying as I wanted to get washing done.Hate using tumble dryer but looks like I will have too.
Must get a few comps done.

Morning,
I too woke up with that groggy morning after the night before feeling even though Ive not touched alcohol in 4 weeks or so. Last night involved watching TV while drinking a hot drink and eating chocolate. Not exactly party time, but its my ideal saturday night.
Tried to go for a run this morning, but couldn't get into it and ending up walking 6.5 miles instead. Its not the end of the world though because its still burned off 650 calories. It doesn't matter if you run, walk or skip you still burn off around 100 calories a mile. Makes me wonder why I actually run :rotfl: I blame the weather, its dull, dank and dreary today. The perfect day for sitting inside with the heating on full blast keeping warm.
Going back to burning food, when me and DH first moved into a flat we got a take-away pizza one night. We didn't eat it all so put the pizza in the oven still in its box so we could warm it up later. Anyway we forgot all about the pizza and the next day DH turned the oven on to warm it up to cook our meal. A little bit later the fire alarm went off and the fire brigade turned up as the flats were linked to the fire station:o:o Whoops.
Ive only entered 160 comps that finish today, but Im not going to enter those I dont want the prize off also if Ive missed a couple hey ho not really bothered.
Hope we all have a nice Sunday.Current Aims: Laptop/PC, decent money, holiday
Best Wins: Ipad, Nintendo 3DS, £400 Shopping Spree at LK Bennett, £100 Boots vouchers
Total Wins (Since April 2012) £3442.56
Big thanks to all who post comps :T:beer:0
