Slept in a bit this morning so no comps done yet :eek:
Hope the late night compers weren't off MSE too long through the night.
Will be getting the washing and ironing up to date today and getting a case out for going away. This week has just flown.

Quite early for me as got to get bus to go and meet my mum as we are off to Birmingham to choose what to have done with the flowers from my wedding. My mum took her button hole in too so she is looking at how they can display that too then tonight we are going to a fundraiser for my little cousins charity fund.

Another wet day here, thank heavens for the tumble drier.

Had a nice long email from DD this morning. They went to the spot where Martin Luther King was shot yesterday and visited Sun Record Studios then drove out to Graceland which they said was amazing, although they think he had more money than sense. They are now in Clarksdale where they are staying at 'The Five & Dime Lofts'. She said their loft is incredible, they both said "Wow" when they walked in. Today they are going back to Memphis to visit the zoo there. A zoo is not something they would normally go to, but apparently there isn't an awful lot else to do there, no shops to speak of, just food outlets everywhere.

DH is going for a flu jab today, I miss out on that I think. I used to get it through work.

Off to see what comps have been posted overnight. Good luck everyone, hope to read some good news later.

Morning all, hope everyone has a lucky day and a visit from the postman!

I'm up early today and all finished with comping so I can go out with DH to town and do some errands/shopping. Because it's not raining here today, woo! I feel like I've been housebound for ages due to bad weather.

I had another small win from Twitter last night, a face mask (anti-ageing) which is nice as I do like to have the occasional pamper session.

hi folks i love reading this thread so thought id actually say hi and maybe join in the banter although dont be prepared for any too exciting tales or lots of gloating about all my wins cos they been a bit quiet of late although didnt comp much in august as busy as school hols

Shame about the course clashing with running club Zombie, it will be worth it in the end though.

Off to do some exersize on the wii, as DH is nagging me. He is so dedicated to everything he does, puts me to shame.



Thats a laugh couldn't do that if I tried but it looks impressive.

My son keeps getting a letter for flu jab too as he's dwn as having asthma as a toddler but I've never took him yet I just think he doesn't need it. He gets really bad hayfever in summer but ok in winter.

Just done the food shopping and its come over all dark now so think its gonna hoy it down again. Waiting to see if postie brings anything now!

Afternoon and welcome Stressdaah. We have some let up in the rain here today and have even seen the sun trying to break through the clouds. I put my washing out quick and hopefully it will be dry before I go back to work later. Hope everyone has a good afternoon
