Hi Everyone :j
Looks like we have all got the gardening bug today, Hey-up I just know what you are all going to be complaining about tonight - OH MY BACK and HOW AM I GOING TO CATCH UP WITH MY COMPING!
Come on in Smoosh, we are a happy, chatty lot here at the Inn. We talk about anything and everything here so relax, grab a cuppa and enjoy. Mind you as long as you understand that if you spend too much time in here (like me) you won't get much comping done. LOL
That's a fab pic Wingo, love yours too FF and Sheils etc.
Sheils, no standing under the ladder mind, we dont want any bad luck.
Off to catch up on my magazine comps, then need to start the daylies, then catch up - too much time in the garden and on here.
Catch you all later.
I did manage to get a little distracted yesterdaydidn't end up entering as many as I would've liked.
Hi smoosh and welcome  good luck with comps
I luv cats, I would just put it as it was written in the comp so if it showed a hyphen in...I would put one in. If it just asks for A, B, or C even though it as an answer...just put A, B or C. If that that makes sense!
Been to matalan today....there was a comp to enter for a free wardrobe of clothes(just clothes...not the wardrobe as well!
)
You had to sign up for the new red cards.
Just watching Paper Moon on film 4. I love that film but it's too dear to buy on amazon. It's an old black & white film with Tatum & Ryan O'Neill
Hi  Thank you0 -
Hi everyone.
Been ages since I was in here so forgive me for not remembering everything.
I ran 7 miles this morning and I loved every minute of it. It was freezing though and it took the first mile to stop feeling like Ice. Was worth it in the end though and Im rather proud of myself.
Waiting for my parents to ring. They are in France and ring every sunday while they are away. I originally asked them if they could ring after 10AM so I could be back from a run. They decided that afternoons would be easier to ring than morning so last week rang at half 2 and said they would ring again about the same time and I haven't heard from them as yet. Im wondering how long to leave it. I need to do things. I need to wash up and take the dog out for a walk, but I know as soon as I do one of them the phone will go.
Looks like there's been some gardening going on in the Inn, if anybody wants to sort my mess of a garden out they are more than welcome

Why won't it stop raining? It was fine until I told hubby I felt like going for a walk and taking the kids to my friend's house for the afternoon, so I apologise to everyone for making it rain
Set alarm for 9.30am to do the Times Comp, hit the snooze button while I tried to remember why I set the alarm for a Sunday and promptly fell back asleep!!!
Probably a good thing because it was apparently broken until about after the midday marker when I was able to enter.
How's everyone's Sunday going?You'll have to speak up; I'm wearing a towel0 -
Hi everyone, :j
Managed 2 Times comps so far as had to take the DGK out shopping.
DD1 Starts Uni tomorrow doing an environmental health course as a mature student. It will be tough as she has a DH and 3 children, one of them with autism, but I am really pleased she is having a go and of course will help all I can.
Suppose the Times are getting off lightly with the prizes as they missed a few hours with it not working, do you think they will extend it by that man hours??
Off to do some catching up now. Catch you all later.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
Good on your DD Sylvia going to Uni
I went as a mature student (made me feel really old
) but I had to give up my nursing course after a year due to childcare issues so it's great that you can help her out :A

Just been out for a nice walk along the river - making the most of the sun before the rain arrives later tonight. Have stacks of ironing but leaving it until tomorrow as probably won't get out for the rain then. Will just have to remember DDs school uniform.
Love your pic Sylvia and great you can help your DD with childminding.
Hope you enjoy uni Smoosh.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
Best Win of 2019 - Forest Holiday0 -
Wingo - no they have a caravan on a campsite on the south coast and go there for weeks at a time. They were at an English friends house today and forgot. I have spoken to them now.
So there I was walking the dog in the field. I always always look at the clovers just in case, but I kept telling myself not to be silly 4 leaf clovers don't exist and what did I see? Only a 4 leaf clover. I've brought it home and it is now getting pressed into a large heavy book. So that means tomorrow ITV are going to ring :rotfl:Current Aims: Laptop/PC, decent money, holiday
Best Wins: Ipad, Nintendo 3DS, £400 Shopping Spree at LK Bennett, £100 Boots vouchers

I got to wear my new dress though so I thought I would show everyone. I think someone said they wanted to see it but I can't remember who.
