Not much relaxing to be done here today. DH is just off to bed between night shifts and I'm just waiting for the last lot of DDs washing to be ready for the dryer. Once that's done we're going over to her flat to get her packing done then she's off to London ready for Memphis in the morning.

Can't believe that The Times are having problems with their comps again, you really would think such large organisations would get themselves sorted out.

Doesn't look like they are going to get the Times comp sorted any time soon.
Have been out bagging branches and leaves to take to the recycling centre so exhausted already! Lovely day here though.

Hi everyone, just checked the Times Comp again but its still not working yet.

Glad you had a lovely time at the SIL's last night FireFly, thought you must have as you didn't drop by. It does you good to get out and enjoy yourself sometimes. Love your pics today.

Fantastic pic of the turtle Sheils, sent it to my DD, she loves anything like that. She has two Indian Star tortoises called Walter and Florence.

Just got back from recycling centre and went straight to Times Comp so made the 12 O'clock entry! Will soon see if the 1pm entry works .

Ooh a Times comp! I must have missed that!

I've been to watch sons match so not took girls to gym as DD still a bit under the weather. Need to get ironing and hoovering done but thought I would try a bit of comping first!

Xfactor was rubbish last night.

I think the issue is that they had lots of time to rehearse (and potentially get it right) before their first audition and @ Boot Camp they only little chance had to get it right in a limited time. (which can show up weaknesses in their performances)

Sending contestants home before they have even sung a note was cruel.

Afternoon all - hammering down with rain and cold here in Surrey. I even had to get my winter bootee slippers out, so it must be bad!

I think The Times comp is fixed now - I was blissfully unaware as I got up to post the link just after 7 then went back to bed, got up again at 9, had a long breakfast and read the papers and have only just put the laptop back on. The Times are pretty useless generally - I've had problems with my direct debits from them more than once and talk to them every Monday about the fact that they haven't delivered the papers over the weekend in the way I asked them to (they need to be put in our secure postal box but they just ignore that and leave the paper on the step), but it seems to make no difference.

Unfortunately I have to work this afternoon as there was a lot going on last week, but I work from home so it's only a question of going upstairs.
