Morning.
I didnt forget about the Times comp :j which is good for me. I have entered 2 so far and I think I might be able to do them all as Im just staying around the house today so if I keep the PC on and pop on it as and when I need to for a couple of mins I should be fine.
Another one here who needs to get some serious comping in Ive seem to have had not much time recently and only managed to get my dailies plus an extra 20 or so in. Im way behind in order posted as Im up to those posted 7th  But I do enter all those ending tomorrow.
Sorry to hear about the job Purple, sounds awful. Also sounds you are better off out of it. They didnt even give you a drink  Thats shocking in itself. Hope you find something soon.

Hope you all have a lovely day today and get lots of comping done (in between The Times Comps) of course.
Lovely pics everyone, anybody you know doing The GNR? My SIL wanted to do it, he's 50, but didn't get it sorted in time. However, he has collected loads of money and has set off to run the same distance from his village and back. He is giving half to a children's charity and the other half to the school his son goes to (he is autistic and goes to a special school which he loves).
Everybody's seems to be talking about the 'C' word so is it allowed for discussion now or is it too early!!!
Its always difficult when you get to me age to answer the question "what do you want for Christmas". My answer is always Thornton's Chocolate Ginger or an orchid. When the ginger arrives my husband puts some of it away otherwise I am afraid I would eat it all. My husband always asks for Newcastle Brown Ale. What do you all ask for?
Here's hoping. But most of all I would like to win some good presents for other people, especially the DGK'sBIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -

No think it is a gherkin FF.
Sylvia I never know what I want. I always used to ask for jewellery but I really don't need any more as I hardly wear most of it. I'm not really into possessions either so I am dreadful to buy for. My best present would be a holiday of some kind.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

sorry if you have seen this already but I want as many people as possible to see this
I don't object to the pic shares (despite facebook terms) I just object to the 'chance' of spotting the winning message
the above quote is exactly how i feel.
In April of this year I entered a FB comp for a 3 day holiday in a luxury apt in St Ives Cornwall. I put a very flattery comment about Cornwall in the comments
2/3 weeks later one of my FB friends messaged me to say I had won and to contact the page my details. I hadn't had an email or notification letting me know.
This was the message from - https://www.facebook.com/TheSailLofts scroll down to 2nd April 2012
Thank you to everyone who has entered our competition... We now have a winner! Congratulations Jill Mann, do get in touch to arrange your spa break in St Ives!
Now what would have happened to that prize - which we are taking at the end of September?
I have made a decision today after reading this thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4176547
I am only going to enter FB comps with an app. i am also going to post this comment on a separate thread to see how others feel.0
