Would it be ok if I just upgrade to i5 and not bother about the PSU?

yeah I would spend the money on the CPU rather than the PSU

    Hi,

I think Dino add £25 at the end as well for delivery so don't forget that, but if you pay by cash or bank transfer you save 1% so that's good (remember that credit cards gives you more rights just incase anything does go wrong). I've seen them in magazines before and not heard bad things but saying that I bought my PC from Braebo which were in the same magazine and I found very good.

I've done a similar PC on their website that came in at £453.73.

    HERE

    Intel Sandybridge Custom PC Basic
    - 01: Case Fides
    - 03: Processor (CPU) i3 2100 X2 (3.10 GHz)
    - 05: Interfaces Intel Sandybridge - Up to 16GB RAM Supported
    - 07: Memory (RAM) 8GB DDR3 (2 x 4GB)
    - 11: Power Supply Unit 500w Silent PSU with low noise
    - 13: Hard Drive 1TB (1 X 1TB)
    - 17: Optical Drive DVD R/W
    - 37: Networking Wireless Broadband Adapter & Fixed Broadband Port
    - 39: Monitor 22 inch Widescreen TFT - VGA
    - 51: Speakers Logitech 2.1 Speakers
    - 57: Online Backup 500GB Secure Online Storage
    - 67: Warranty Basic - 2 Year Return to Base Warranty

I'd go with a better processor though, maybe an Ivybridge.

If I was you I'd call the company you are dealing with to see what staff are like and they can suggest the best desktop for you.

I don't see you need aftermarket CPU cooler if you don't plan to overclock the machine.
I do recommend you get i5 if you got money. However, i3 CPU should be enough for your use.
Wireless adaptor. As said be4, personally prefer usb than internal.
    Monitor - I suggest you get something with 1920 x 1080. That
£85 Option didn't really say what you are getting.
I just seen LG IPS screen at amazon at £107, may worth consider.
Case - get Xigmatek Asgard Pro if you can afford. It support USB 3.0 at front port.
If you want to stick to cheap EzCool, I suggest you buy a 80mm fan and install at the back to increase air flow.

    Hi everyone!

I delayed buying the PC for a while as I didn't have enough money! Am trying to make do with my iPad!

Here's the Custom Built PC spec I put together after considering all the previous posts. And I just want one final acknowledgement that I'm doing the right thing!

    !
    Intel Core i5 3450 CPU
    Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro
    No Operating System Required
    Asus P8B75-M LX Motherboard
    8GB DDR3 1333mhz (2x 4GB)
    1TB S-ATAIII 6.0Gb/s 7200rpm Seagate HDD
    24x DVD±RW DL S-ATA
    Onboard Video
    Onboard 7.1 Audio
Wireless 802.11N 300Mbps MIMO PCI card
    Asus 21.5" Widescreen LCD
    CIT shadow ATX case
    500W Xigmatek PSU

    £470

It's from Chillblast as they have matched the DinoPC spec and price. And they seem to have a lot of good reviews.

My family I telling me to just go for a Retail one (like PCWorld or something), as they say I shouldn't trust any third parties!

Thanks people, your comments and suggestions are much appreciated.
