George@Asda online misprices?

    On the homepage it says spend 30 pounds and get a fiver off,not sure if it includes sale items.

    It did take if off my total (£30.50, making it £25.50); however, they then notified me that an item was out of stock, which took my order to sub-£30, so the discount was removed :(
    If it's cheap, I'm cheerful!

    I don't think much of Asda's customer service. I phoned last night because I was supposed to have next day delivery and they confirmed that the order should have been delivered but not to worry it would be with me by Wednesday as it was still waiting to be processed. I said that I didnt really think that was quite next day delivery but the lady I spoke to didnt seem to understand the problem. She was very nice but I eventually gave up trying to explain the concept of 'next day delivery'.

    Very disappointed as I never ever pay for delivery but this was something I really wanted for today grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. :mad:

    I too found their customer service to be very poor. They overcharged me by 50p but were unable to simply refund the 50p to my credit card. They offered me an evoucher for £1, which they said I would find on my account so I went to order something that cost £1, but it wasn't there. I had to ring them a second time and for all the messing about they couldn't offer a gesture of goodwill or anything, which for me has tarnished the formerly excellent image ASDA had in my eyes.

    They have lost one of my orders,I was chasing it up as it was meant to be delivered to store and I hadn't heard anything,this was Thursday I rang and I haven't heard anything since,they were supposed to get back to me.

    As anyone collected from store yet, I ordered Thursday with an estimated collection day from store on Saturday but my order status is still being packed and I haven't received an email to say its ready for collection yet :(

    I ordered from them last weekend with collection in store expected on Tuesday. Tuesday came and went with no e-mail to say the items had arrived and on Thursday I checked the tracking and they had apparently arrived in store on the Tuesday.

    Staff at ASDA said it was a problem as the items had not been checked into their store by the delivery people but they had my items and gave them to me which then triggered an e-mail saying the items were ready for pick up.

    A bit back to front but nice items, free delivery to store and very cheap!

    My 3 orders were due in store Saturday and I got an email to say they had arrived. Plan to pick them up tomorrow so hope its all in order!

    Just had an email to say my order has been dispatched from their warehouse and I will receive another once its arrived in my store - looking hopeful now :)

    I'm in the same boat, ordered in the wee hours of Thursday morning to arrive Saturday in store but the status is still saying 'order placed'.

    I rang the store to check if it was just a communication error and if it had actually arrived but no sign of it unfortunately.

    Btw, does anyone know whether they charge when dispatched or immediately? Only I've noticed they've already taken the money out of my account rather than just placing a hold on it.
