Temporary Foster Home for my Rottweiler?
Comments
-
I would contact a breed rescue. I had a similar situation and the breed rescue found someone who wanted to foster a corgi for a while and I needed her fostered. Worked very well.
I also found people were unwilling to take her temporarily.
Breed clubs/breeders are your best bet. Alternatively advertise in rescue centres for people looking to become fosterers or target those who may have recently lost a dog and don't want another yet but miss the companionship?0 -
Is there some practical real reason why your parents can't let the dog come with you? If not, it seems incredibly cruel to make you give him up because you're in a tight spot.0

Have they got a garage as a temporary fix until they fall in love with him and invite him to live on the sofa ;-)0

You could try joing a site like Rescue Helpers Unite (or Animal Lifeline uk) They have rescues/fosterers/transport etc etc etc all on the one site and there may be someone who can help or give advice.

If we had been closer we may have been able to help as we take in rescues and foster dogs.
Good luck0
